You know I'm sick and tired of Beasley ignoring the fact that 4 other players are on the court. Spo should bench his *** the rest of this series to send him and the team a message. Pathetic shots and not one ****ing pass all game

I hear ya. I guess I'm just frustrated with the approach he's taken. Earlier in the game he went to the basket a bit... got to the line, made an easy bucket. Now he's firing away as usual. Couldn't hurt to pass the ball once or twice either. I know he'll be a great scorer, but man, he's got to take it to the basket like he was during his season ending stretch. He's got to pass the ball when he's in a tough spot, too.

Beasley needs to learn that when your shot isn't there, you don't just settle unless you absolutely have to. Ball movement WILL ALWAYS get you a better shot.

 

Why do I feel like we are playing 5 on 3 when Cook and Beasley are in the game? Oh and see what happens when Beasley takes it to the rim? Good things. Man up Beas.

 

definitely not the beasley we saw during the Heats last week of regular play. Maybe the coaches were onto something about his development.

Run the offense through Beasley. Let him find his game.

 

DCook - This is how you are supposed to hit a wide open 3 point look.

 

Wade is the only one who does regularly take it to the basket. Our frontline guys sure as hell dont. Our supposedly zippy gaurds dont. Even Wade settles for jumpers when he out to be attacking the basket. I get tired of seeing bricks when we collectively fall in love with the jumpshot. I miss having guys who can aggressively take it to the rim(Zo!).

 

Nope leave Wade in until 4 minutes are left. If we are down by 10 or less keep him in..

 

Haslem sucks. Period.

He's an effort guy who isnt giving any....effort

 

What will it take for us to actually be effective at defense and rebounding?

 

Magloire should get Smith to throw a punch before the game ends.. Hard foul and jar with him.. I think that numnuts is dumb enough to throw a punch.

 

A revamped team and a player with heart like Zsa Zsa Gabour.

I have never seen Udonis Haslem lackluster when it comes to effort.

Not tonight either... he's missing his shots, sure. Still playing hard on D.

 

We can make a quick 10 point run.. Anything under 10 and the game is still winnable.. All it takes is a couple of 3 pointers and some Wade steals and we are back in this game... I've seen it happen before.. Do you recall 2006 game 3?

He's taking stupid shots (but so is everyone else really).

He's getting dominated on the boards too. Thats an effort problem IMO.

 

Problem is, thats all he usually brings. It works when you have talent elsewhere, but when you dont, Haslem's strength are minimized.

If Atlanta makes it to the second round... man, I'd of loved to see him have fun with those little panzies in the ONE game they'll win in that series (probably at home in a game 3 blow out, only to get LeBron'ed in game 4 for a 3-1 lead by Cleveland). Flagrant-2's BELONG in the NBA Playoffs. Every series should see one or two, IMO.

 

I'm serious when I say this.. I don't know if a Miami Heat BENCH consisting of our starting 4 outside of Wade could carry this team through a playoff run, assuming our other 4 starters are decent.. These guys are killing me tonight.

 

I didnt say this series. I said this GAME. The whole damn team is getting dominated on the boards.

I think you give UH a LOT of credit he doesnt deserve. There are a lot of effort guys in the NBA, and a lot of them are better than Haslem.


I could counter with the stupidest thing in this thread is you saying we'd win this game, but I'm not immature.

 

If Pat Riley is on the bench right now (and no I'm not knocking Spo for not doing this), Yakuba Diawara is entering the game to TAKE JOSH SMITH OUT right now. No joke. That's old school Pat Riley basketball. You think Posey was the man behind those flagrant 2's in Chicago back in 2006? No way. All Riley's doing. He drew it up.

And I'd do the same... you definitely try and take one of their guys out to send a message, especially when they're trying to show you up. Take their *** out of the game and potentially the entire series.

Josh Smith is a player that I'd never cheer for, mostly because he sucks and he's living off that garbage system that will never produce a title. And of course he thinks he's the ****.
