wade basically lost the series for us tonight all by himself.

Oh and I hope we can still get a guy like Bosh in a deal for Beasley.

doesnt matter that we got nothing from the bench. Jones and Oneal stepped it up, Wade got it together later. Everyone else just stood by while the hawks flew by. Not much enthusiasm on D, and hardly any penetration to the basket.

I'd say we underestimated a team that had its back to the wall and was desperate for a win....but Atlanta played just as badly as we did.

We lost, we showed zero effort(with the exception of Jones and O Neal)

You cant take naps in the middle of a ****ing playoff series, you shouldnt have to be motivated in order to win a ****ing game. Christ I'm so ****ing pissed.

    the self-turnovers were just laughable.

Calling this a half assed performance would be a compliment(it was more of a 1/16th assed performance.)

When Jermaine O'Neal and James Jones combine for 39 points and we lose at home... you know Dwyane Wade stunk the joint up as nasty as possible. That should be enough at home for Wade to will "his" team towards a W, unless Atlanta completely goes off... AND THEY DIDN'T. Atlanta played a mediocre basketball game, IMO. Aside from Zaza completely embarrassing our interior, overall as a team, they did not impress me. This was more of Wade's loss than anyone's win. He spent more time complaining to the officials than he did trying to get his teammates involved. Dribble, dribble, step back, pump fake, lean into the defender's body, no call (rightfully so), miss, complain to the officials. That was Wade's play by play for the majority of the night. I will say one thing... he fought extremely tough on the defensive end, though. He never gave up. Still an inexcusable performance.

And I'm sorry, I always admit when I'm wrong. I was wrong about Michael Beasley. I don't see any fight in him, and I highly doubt he becomes a better player than an Antwan Jamison meets David West hybrid. I hate players who give up on plays, and furthermore, give up on themselves when things aren't going great. Michael Beasley has done just that in this series. He's completely given up on his abilities, which unfortunately happen to be top notch. Here's to hoping Toronto fails to reach the desired contract extension with Bosh and they are forced to take an offer centered around Michael Beasley. I don't see any way possible he's as good or better than Chris Bosh. I know he's 20 years old, and I hope I am wrong, but this guy has NO HEART. I guarantee you... 110%... if Pat Riley was to walk by Michael Beasley right now he wouldn't say a single word to him. I KNOW he's disgusted.

Onto the positives, Jermaine O'Neal's performance will go a bit overrated in the public eye. He had a solid game offensively, but he was completely dominated by Zaza on the glass. Embarrassing performance there. 18 rebounds in 33 minutes, like, seriously? Half positive / Half negative night for J.O., but I thought that for a second option, he DID ENOUGH to contribute to what was supposed to be a game that Dwyane Wade dominated. Instead, Mike Woodson, the WORST coach in the NBA, dominated him. Atlanta had an answer for every move made by Wade tonight, left, right, and center.

Udonis Haslem, forget about the box score. The guy was AMAZING. Whenever he was in the game he had Horford on lock... made him his *****. In fact, that's what I'll be referring to Al Horford as the rest of his career... UDONIS HASLEM's *****. Glad to see Horford being exposed. Always thought the guy was overrated. He's an average center, IMO.

James Jones, what can I say? Amazing performance on both sides of the floor. This guy is going to be great for us next year if he can stay healthy. This is why I was excited when he signed him. Thought that 3 of the 5 fouls he was called for were HORRENDOUS. But hey, that's what we're going to have to live by. The officials in this series have no sense of anything. They're confused. They don't know when they want to let the guys play, or when they want to call it close. They've been calling games loosely the entire series, but of course David Stern needs the 4/5 series in the East to go 7. Why wouldn't he? Still not the cause of our meltdown.

Erik Spoelstra... he didn't stick by his guns. He saw Beasley out there giving absolutely nothing, putting on his best Dorell Wright impression, so he yanked him. Mixed it up a bit, but when it's all said and done, the bench isn't deep enough. Not his fault. I thought he made some great adjustments after time outs, but his guys failed to execute. What can you do?

I disagree that Wade was shut down. He shut himself down. He didn't even make an attempt to attack the rim, he settled. I don't see the fire he used to have.

Let's be honest.... Wade has been shut down in all games this series in terms of attacking the basket. Atlanta has done a great job against him; mostly Mo Evans, but I thought Flip did a great job tonight when Mo went out with a terrible call for his 3rd foul in the first half. (This game was called poorly on both sides) I like the adjustments that Woodson has made. He's a bottom 5 coach in this league, but he does a great job defensively. He just can't get anything out of a boat load of talent in a half court set. It's pathetic really. /rant. I haven't seen Wade this limited at going to the rack throughout his entire career. Not even the series against Chicago back in 2007 where he was limping around with one leg and one shoulder. Wade is averaging 22 FG attempts with only 4.75 FT attempts per game in this series. I don't think he's EVER had a 4 game stretch throughout his career where he's taken that many shots and got to the line that staggering amount of times. Maybe not even a TWO game span. Has a lot to do with what Atlanta is throwing at him. Interesting thing is that he averaged exactly 22 FG attempts per game during the regular season, only with 9.8 FT attempts per game.

Difference is that was on fire shooting the ball in Games 2 and 3. Tonight he was off, and he couldn't find his way to the rack. He's going to have to shoot like he did in Games 2 and 3 two more times in this series. Thus the reason why I predict Atlanta pulls this one out, but I still have a ton of hope. This series is a toss up. It's about showing up more so than beating the other team. All four games so far... one team showed up and the other didn't. Pathetic preparation by both of these teams, IMO. This is the ****ing NBA Playoffs. I know that Woodson is a horrendous coach that has no idea what he's doing, but I don't feel the same way about Spo, especially when it comes to preparation. Get it together, guys.
I wonder if both teams realize that they're playing only to see who gets crushed in the next round? Not exactly a prize for winning this series. Ah, that might be it.

HD, when you compare D Rose to Beasley when it comes to the playoffs the results have been night and day. In one case you have a player playing with a sense of urgency and fire, in the other yoou have a rookie looking like has hit the rookie wall hard. Man Beas has been a huge disappointment.

J.O. was asked for offense tonight...he delivered.

James jones was dragging the team kicking and screaming to his level. In the end..he is not lebron James or Dwyane Wade, so he can't be the catalyst.

    THAT IS WADE'S JOB.

As bad as the bench was....(Beasley...oh god...) we got the obligatory good games from two guys...J.O. and JJ. This was a game that Wade goes out and scores his standard 32 on 50% shooting and we win by 6. good bye atlanta. BUT NO. Back Spasms...and MO DRAMA.

Sometimes I think Wade does this crap on purpose.

    Back Spasms? really?

BTW, Atlanta wanted to lose. we left them off the hook. Wade just flat out blew it.

He wants to get second place in the MVP voting? His mission is simple. Play great in game 5...win..and then come back here on friday and finish these idiots.

be careful with the Derek Rose love....

he has had 1 great game, 1 good game and 2 awful ones...all the while guarding Rajon Rondo one on one...

Rajon Rondo of course...is averaging a triple double on him. A TRIPLE DOUBLE.

If we polled every single GM in the NBA, do you think one would select Beas over Rose? I haven't seen much of a progression in his game, or level of consistent play which worries me a bit. You would think that he would start to get it by now. A PF settling for 20 FT jump shots is not going to cut it in Miami, especially when he is loaded with talent when taking it to the rim.

He needs to work his *** off this offseason, get a little stronger and come in focused next year. I'll let this pathetic excuse for a playoff showing slide.. Hopefully he can rebound in games 5 and 6 and contribute.

    Yes.

you haven't seen "progression" in his game?

don't boil down his "progression" to the last 2 games of this series.

I'm talking about settling for 20 FT jumpers, or even worse 3 pointers. He is a PF and should start playing like one.

It's nice and all when he is hot, but we need consistency as he is the only legitimate scorer beyond Wade and we can ill afford for him to come out flat like he has this entire series.

    Would you?

I wouldn't even think twice when it comes to Rose or Beasly. Rose without question. I'd still take Beasley over all of the other rookies though.

He is doing what he always does. make it sound more dramatic than it is so if he goes nuts he can add to his "lore" and if he doesn;t...he can blame the back.

Atlanta wins game five, we win game six and game seven is a toss up.

Wade will MIRACULOUSLY be cured of his back, cancer, bubonic plague, herpes simplex, ebola, and leprosy by gametime on Wednesday night...and have his best game of the series.

Heat win Game 5 in what will be the best game of the series. Heat win 94-88

Then come home for Game 6 and win in a walk 102 - 86

Heat in 6. I will be shocked if Atlanta wins this series.

I am very disturbed by Atlanta's fans attending tonight's game and I wish them ALL the worst.

Hopefully Mike Bibby leaves Atlanta, and that entire team suffers a ton of injuries. Their fans deserve it for cheering while Wade's on the floor with a ****ing head injury. Then once he gets up, they boo him. Are you kidding me? No remorse if I read that fans from that game suffer from anything on their way home tonight. You don't boo a HEAD INJURY. Do you know how hazardous slamming your head on the floor can be? Classless pieces of trash. All deserve to be pounded on the head and boo'ed if / when they recover.
