The C2C fins have are on the road! Looks like the new digs and (hopefully soon) a permanent one. I just wanted to kick off this thread the right way. How many boys (and girls do we have over here now? Prepare to make yourself known. Samphin checking in.
C2C Fins is/was the official football team of finheaven and probably now Celtkin/futurefin site. It was started and is still run by FINintheMOON and all members of the tackle football team are members of the various websites and all are fin fans. We get together and play fans of other teams on their turf (so no travel excuses) on a Saturday and then go to a Fins road game in that city the next day. This year, our trip includes the Arizona road game, which will coincide with the road trip a lot of fans are taking. Which is neat because we will probably have an audience to play in front of. I am a defensive co captain and starting DE/DT for the squad. As the other members sound off, you will learn who is who and what each one excels at.
wish i could babe. got school starting soon and no PL time to take off at work. but i promise i will make it to one! gotta meet all these guys who make fun of me so much all the time.
Yeah. I have a feeling most of these guys wouldn't make fun of you in person. Too scared. Me on the other hand, I will treat you the same no matter which forum it happens to be in. Thats the kind of gy I am! A true friend.
Yeah man, We always look for more applicants and players. Once this site starts to lay down some roots, I am sure Ken (FINintheMOON) will be accepting applications again.
i never knew what this was about....so for us that weren't involved could you give us a little information about it?
Joking aside. I do know you have to be an adult (18 years or older) to participate. We try to raise money that goes into a pool to help offset the cost of travel and hotel costs. It is a tackle football game, military style (meaning 7 on 7, no pads, cleats and mouthgaurds STRONGLY recommended). Custom jerseys are provided and an application must be filled out in order to play. A waiver is also needed in order to suit up. The bottom line is that it is fun and you get a chance to hang with board members you would otherwise not meet. Before and after the game drinks floweth and good times are had by all (just at a slower pace after the game ). We have one game scheduled this year against Arizona fans (if we can find them). If we can't find a team to play (last year the Jets fans backed out...wusses), then we split our squad in two and play each other.
I'm Dave and I excell at looking good and looking good while blowing by Griddlecakes for TDs. Disregard anything you hear about Stitches and catching TDs. There was rain, mud, and slipage occured. That's all that needs to be said.
Thanks for getting things started Sam... I had commitment last night and couldn't get back out here to populate the forum once it popped up.
Josh is that you bro? I for one had a BLAST last time. It has actually helped motivate me to become a fitter, healthier, "big boy". I am down 60 lbs, and am starting to notice good definition in my arms and legs. I plan on being an animal next time. My knee hasn't bothered me in months, I can actually run again, its great, well....its great for me...not for others...
Keep dreaming big boy, my spot is secure. Actually, it probably isn't as I myself have lost about 20 pounds and may either have to switch to a DE/OLB or, if I continue to lose, drop back and play safety. Which would stink because I really LOVE hitting the QB.
Is this game happening in Arizona for sure, no matter when we play them? Me and the misses r thinking about going to the Zona game, just wondering if there will be more Phins fans representing
The game is on bro... Regardless of the schedule... We are just waiting for the schedule to come out so that we can get the ball rolling...
