All I know is that I hope the Flyers keep playing that clown Hartnell. He's good for at least a PP or two per game for us.

Good first period accept for the shift that Matt Hunwick had on the Canadiens goal. First, he fails to hold the puck in the zone, then he allows the Habs to counter because he is flat footed, then after Timmy makes an unreal save there is Hunwick watching the birds fly by while Higgins is standing all alone, right beside him on the back post.

Matt Hunwick has been DREADFUL tonight. Everytime he is on the ice the Habs get a good chance. I think we'll see Shane Hnidy game 2.

What a god awful 2nd period for the Bruins. No flow to the game what so ever and no chances at all. The period was at neutral ice. Right after the Hab PP expires, Kovalev gets a chance and throws it in the shelf....great shot.

Bruins need to get back to getting possession, dumping it in and punishing the Hab's defense.

I'm a little worried to be honest. Losing game 1 at home throws home ice out the window and puts ALL the heat on Boston.

Gotta love the filthy ****ing Habs. Kess gets an empty netter and Lapierre comes in after him. Then at the end, Kostopolous thies to elbow Hunwick in the head and then Komasarik does his ***** act, going after the smallest guy in the scrum (Hunwick) and then throwing punches while the official is holding both of them back...typical Habs.

Its not like Price isnt capable of those types of stats. Look at his numbers from last year. He's a more talented goalie then Thomas and he at least has the ability to steal a series. the defense in front of him desperately underestimated the importance of Mark Streit and is not very strong. Im not saying he will do that here but he could very easily steal a few games. And all bets are off when the Bruins and Habs play.

The NHL's inconsistency is maddening. Lucic gets a game for an emotional response when even Colion Campbell said it was not CLEAR if it was a glove or a stick...

Wait, it is "unclear" what exactly occurred but you suspend him? Yet, Tom Kostopoulus tried to decapitate Matt Hunwick, Maxime LaPierre attacks Phil Kessel after an empty net goal and Mike Komi-chicken-bleep tries to remove Mat Hunwick's eye but you don't give any of the three ANY discipline because it was "unclear what the intent was or what had happened".

Mike Cammalleri attacked Martin Havlat in the EXACT same manner as Jeff Carciilo did, Carcillo got one game, Cammalleri got NOTHING. Cammalleri's blow to Havlat's head was a CLEARLY premeditated attack at another players head but he got nothing. Campbell said on HNIC that he is "trying to get the blows to the head and the after whistle stuff out of the game".

It's a ****ing double standard. What Campbell has basically said here is that if you are a "skilled player" you get a free pass to do what ever you want because of the non discipline on Cammalleri. He's also said that if you want to attack players after they score you are allowed. If you want to facewash you are allowed. If you want to have bigger players go after smaller players (as the Habs have done on multiple occasions in the series) you are allowed. If you want to go after players but not drop your gloves (like Lapierre was doing to Lucic) you are allowed. BUT, if you want to get your gloves up to defend yourself you get one game.

All that said, I don't really have an issue with Looch getting suspended ONLY if the NHl actually has some ****ing consistency with their discipline which they have not had since Gary Bettman began running the league.

You thought the Habs were acting like a bunch of *****es in Boston?? Oh man, wait until tonight... back in front of their OLE OLE'ers with no Lucic on the ice. Let's just say that the chicken ****s like Komisarek and Lapierre will be very "brave" tonight.

Also, the suspension on Lucic was complete and utter bull****. Forget the fact that Lucic's stick never made contact with Lapierre's head, Maxime went out of his way to skate across the friggen' ice after the whistle, setting up that confrontation with Lucic. Lapierre does alot of talking and after that **** he pulled with Kessel at the end of Game 1, I was hoping that Lucic was going to re-arrange his face.

Uni, how about Bergeron late Saturday night? LOL, I'm sure that Gorges got a-helluva-lot more than he was originally bargaining for... who knew that Bergeron had such a devastating left?

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jvmnP0YCks&feature=related"]YouTube - Josh Gorges VS Patrice Bergeron-Montreal Canadiens VS Boston Bruins-4-18-09[/ame]

I love this Bruins team. As long as they stay out of the box these next two games, they should be coming home up 3-1 with a chance to close out the series on home ice.

IF? Washington is a piece of cake. Shut down the over-rated Ovechkin and you win.

Yes. Then we would get to face the "mighty" Bruins.

I hope so, because then I'm driving up to my buddies house in my Mass to attend a game in Boston.

When I heard Bob Cole say there was a fight and they panned to it I though "oh no, Bergy should not be fighting with his history" and then he dropped Gorges like a bad habit with a nice straight left.

Since the Habs have a habit of sending Laraque after players that have dropped a Hab I wonder if he will shadow Bergy tonight looking to fight him...LOL!

    So ****ing jealous.

I think the Rangers will win the series at this point but I dunno about a sweep. I still think the Caps could make it a little bit interesting. They need to get back to their game. Ovechkin is spending WAY too much time trying to get his while he leaves his linemates as spectators.

Well....one more win for the sweep.

Good to see Avery being a ****ing idiot tonight. Nothing will EVER make me feel as good as it will when someone grabs him and pounds his ***** *** into the ice. The guy really needs to get destroyed. If their was no instigator rule this guy would be in a wheelchair.

All it took was Ovechkin realizing he can't go end to end every shift and be the only one that shoots the puck on his team. Tonight he got his linemates involved and what happens? Backstrom and Semin both have great games.

Tonight shows me that the Rangers have HUGE issues putting the puck in the net still. I REALLY want them to win the series though...I want no part of Jersey, Philly or Pittsburgh.

Great win last night. It would be nice to see them wrap-up the series in Montreal tomorrow. The Bitz to Thornton connection was pretty... great job by that line.

And how about those Habs fans boo'ing the National Anthem again last night? Stay classy, Montreal.

Yah, I know. I'd like to apologize on behalf of Canada for some of our idiotic Quebecois counterparts.

How SWEET would it be to sweep them out in round one in their building!

As for Washington and Ovy. IMO Ovy is the best player in the game right now and he can still carry Washington to the cup. He's that good

Some happy 'Caniacs' up here tonight. They blew a 3 point lead only to score a game winning goal with seconds left. The Jersey Devils goalie almost broke his stick slamming it into the ice after the game. That could be normal for all I know though.

    Series is tied now.

I think it's safe to assume you can stick a fork in the Flyers.

With MAF playing the way he is, I don't see them coming back.
