Well, don't forget what Hodges said when he was arrested. There is still something bigger out there, so yeah, hopefully Tony is still deep undercover and still is a good guy. There's still 6 hours left so it will be interesting. I also agree with Ray about Kim, she was excellent tonight and that scene was very emotional.
Spoiler Now this is totally crazy, but does the lack of a silent clock make it possible that Moss is alive and the Tony is still operating under cover? Earlier in the year Rene had a staged death....
No he's dead, not every character gets the silent clock when they die, just the important ones when it fits in with the scene. Plus why would Tony leave him alive?
Cause I was starting to like the character Seriously, if he did kill Spoiler Moss then there is no way for us to deny that he is working with the bad guys or a different group that seeks to cause mass casualties.
I think it's pretty obvious now that Tony is a bad guy and probably always was for this season. I mean there's no other explaination right now. Plus if he left him alive Moss would tell everyone that Tony let the guy get away.
Kind of ironic, but this story was in my local paper today. Nordling (moss) was from my area. And they ask him if Agent Moss will survive. http://www.northjersey.com/entertainment/tv/Bergens_Jeffrey_Nordling_on_24_tonight.html
Oh poopie! I have a theory. Spoiler Tony cut a deal to fall in with Starkwood once he found out Jack had been infected to try and get him an antidote.
Did we ever find out if Emerson was killed. Tony being a bad guy is not the shocking part, its why did he blow up all the weapons. Does he think they were killing too many people?? Remember next season starts 6 weeks after this one ends
very annoying. she wasnt bad tonight. i can tolerate two minutes. speaking of hot, that doctor is smoking hot. and i have noticed agent walker's really nice melons
Spoiler Maybe Jack is not sick or something because next episode he looks to be 100%... Idk there has to be a reason why he is better. It would take more than an hour to do the stem cell treatment.... something is up
Anyone else thing that Spoiler Moss's Death could be like how Jack Killed Ryan Chappelle. He did not want to but he had to for the greater good? Personally i hope Tony is the bad guy and has a Tony vs Jack Finale on Day 8... That could be epic
Guys Tony is bad, as much as we want him to stay good it's just not going to happen. Here's an interview with Carlos Bernard about it and it confirms he's bad and also has been (he was simply using Bill, Chloe and Jack as part of his plan): http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sho...d-speaks-out-on-tonys-turn-for-the-worst.html It's actually a pretty good read and shows that the rest of Season 7 sounds very promising.
WTF just happened!?!?!?!? This makes no sense so far. If Tony and Jonas were working together from the beginning why did Jonas try to have Tony killed? Did he know he was going to escape??? i did kind of find it odd when tony was first caught he told Jonas something like "yes Mr Hodges" and gave this look at him.
Well, at least we know now. That was a very good read and it kind of made me get over him being a bad guy. This is only going to get better now, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
i just dont like the "im prepared to face what i have done" attitude by tony. there is no reason for him to say those lines. he is prepared to go to prison willingly...that is unless some confluence of events happen that allow him to continue working with the terrorists...which just keeps happening over an over again.
its really hard to believe that jonas hodges is a small fish in the pond. the only thing bigger than a multi-billion dollar private army that i can think of is a country. tony takes out a stockpile to smuggle out a few vials?
Why? President Logan was a small fish in the pond in Season 5 and he was leader of the country. He was a puppet for the Blue Tooth Group who were controlling things and basically running America. It's possible that Tony is working for a bigger organization than what Hodges was running. For everyone questioning Tony and why his turn doesn't make sense, let's just wait to see his reasons. It didn't make any sense when Nina or President Logan were found out to be bad until it was explained. Also according to the writers they left clues that Tony was still bad from looks he gave on screen, to certain questions he asked/didn't answer to how he suddenly disappeared for a few hours and then came back with new information on terrorist plans without an explaination on how he got them etc.
true, but if i remember correctly, logan was exercising his power out of his own will and then got caught up into a blackmail situation, no? i guess im taking it too literally. we never really found out who the blue tooth guys really were did we (besides being his brother lol)? even after jack found him, baldie was just another small fish lol. we never find out because there is no such thing. werent they really working the russian rogues in season 6? im just saying the only bigger organization has to be a government unless they just dont tell us. nobody else has the resources i think it makes sense overall for tony to be bad, but i dont like how it is all happenstance that he is able to operate. its like a coin flip of whether he is going to jail or to be a terrorist and he doesnt care either way. yet the plot demands that he be a terrorist
NO way Tony is working undercover and still a good guy. Bottom line is: Spoiler He murdered the head of the FBI. I can't see them sacrificing Moss like that. Tony would be arrested and charged with murder...good guy or not.
Everything Logan did in Season 5, he was told to do it, he was basically a pawn and a yes man. I don't believe we ever found out who was really behind the BTG in Season 5 and 6, it was just some lame 'let's cause a war to make money off of oil' thing as I highly doubt Jack's father was behind the whole master plan.... god Season 6 was awful.
If I were to rank the seasons as of right now I'd go with: 1, 3, 2, 7, 5, 4, 6. But it could change depending on the final episodes. Its no knock on this season but I just feel Seasons 1-3 are just unreal.
I'm still in shock a little after Monday's episode. My first thought afterwards was that Spoiler Jack will probably kill Tony in the final hour. Part of me wanted to think that Moss is still alive and that Tony left him alive because he only needed enough time to get away, but I think he's actually dead. I'm already looking forward to the Jack/Tony showdown. I'll be disappointed if we don't get it.
there is nothing spoilerish in the spoilers. Moss gets killed which we all know since the show was on 2 days ago, it is just people theories on why or what happens next Some people put up the spoiler before the west coasters saw it and it just kind of grew from there
From Bill Simmons ******************************************************** One more thought: Did you ever notice the disturbing parallels between Wade and Jack Bauer beyond the whole "totally fearless" and "can carry a show by themselves" parts? Follow me here ... 2002: Wade submits a stellar sophomore year at Marquette (after not playing as a freshman) and puts himself on the map; Bauer submits a stellar Season 1 of "24" and puts himself on the map. 2003: Wade carries Marquette to the Final Four; Bauer carries "24" to an excellent Season 2 in which he detonates a nuclear bomb in L.A. (no, not the Kobe incident in Colorado -- an actual nuclear bomb). 2004: Wade leads Miami to the NBA playoffs before losing in Round 2; Bauer fights off a heroin addiction and carries "24" to a solid Season 3 that falls apart down the stretch after he kills Nina Myers. 2005: Wade gets a new running mate (a controversial center named Shaq) and would've won the title if he didn't get injured during the Eastern finals; Jack gets a new running mate (a controversial girlfriend named Audrey) and could have had his best season ever if the "nuclear football" plot hadn't fallen apart right near the end. 2006: Wade enjoys his greatest season (Finals MVP, first title) and so does Bauer in Season 5 (which features David Palmer's assassination, Jack coming out of hiding in the Mojave desert, President Logan's meltdown, a really good nerve gas plot and Jack getting kidnapped by the Chinese). Both Wade and Jack peaked in 2006. And if that's not enough, Gary Payton co-starred with both of them: As GP on Miami and Wayne Palmer on "24." 2007: Wade's Miami team falls apart (44 wins, first-round exit) as Wade's supporting cast crumbles and poor Wade is too banged up from previous seasons to carry them. Jack's TV show falls apart (worst "24" season by far) and his supporting cast crumbles (no Tony Almeida or Michelle Dessler and too much President Wayne Palmer, the Mark Blount of "24") as he's too banged up from previous seasons to carry them. 2008: Wade's season gets cancelled by injuries (he plays only 51 games); Jack's season gets cancelled by the writer's strike. Everyone wonders if we'll ever see vintage Wade or vintage Jack again. 2009: Comeback years all around! Wade submits his best regular season ever; Jack leads "24" to its strongest first 18 episodes ever. Now we're heading for the playoffs and who the hell knows what will happen?
I watched season's 1-3. Moved to Europe and didn't follow it. I started again this year and think it's great.
Some Season 8 news (I don't consider these to be spoilers so I won't put the tags) Season 8 will take place in New York, CTU will be back and filming starts next month.
I also read somewhere that season 8 starts 6 weeks after season 7 I wonder if season 7 will leave with some sort of cliffhanger that makes us wait until next January
is kim president? btw, i wish you lived near me. love to knock some beers back and talk 24 and the fins ....and maybe make out
http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/04/exclusive-24-mo.html The link also includes some info a the new head of CTU. Yeah I think I posted that Season 8 starts 6 weeks after this season ends and there's suppose to be a pretty big cliffhanger in the final. Haha well we can talk the phins and 24 here at least.
