"Goes toward the team and its revenue?". Tell that to the fans my, friend, who aren't paying to see revenue....they're paying to see the players and the game. ;)

It's not where it's going to; it's where it's coming from.... and if there's no "coming from", then there's no "going to". You're logic is a little skewed on this subject....with all due respect.

no yours is a little skewed. You are trying to make it more special then it really is. Is it your and the fans money sure. But how is it different then any other thing you spend your money on? Last I checked all revenue for all businesses comes from someones money. Just because you call yourself a fan does not make you any less of a patron no matter how much you love football.

Most of the people who go to the games are called fans....so I wouldn't say I'm in an exclusively elite group to have this opinion. LOL. It's no different than any other product we spend our money on, and that's part of the point- if I buy a product that doesn't deliver, then I don't buy the product again.

On the flip side, the more I like a product...the more money I spend on it. Fans aren't obligated to pay to see games or these players. We can simply not go, and the empty stands will show it. ;) Every product has to earn and maintain it's value. I'm not speaking about JT here...I'm speaking about all pro athletes in general.

I never said you should still spend money on the merchandise, games if you didn't like the end product. But in the end the situation is not much different from any other business.

that part I completely agree with on. I'm just not a fan of some of these guys who don't treat football as a career and take the offseason "off". LOL. That was my point from the beginning. ;)
