It still doesn't make sense to me.

    It makes sense:

She was 20 on 1-1-09, but she turned 21 the next day (1-2-09).

    1-1-08 = 19
    1-2-08 = 20
    12-31-08 = 20

    1-1-09 = 20
    1-2-09 = 21
    12-31-09 = 21

    1-1-10 = 21
    1-2-10 = 22

Here's another. I hate these kind...

Somebody ate the butcher's sausages! Here's what these four boys have to say:
    A: "B ate the sausages!"
B: "D ate them all up!"
    C: "I didn't eat them, no way!"
    D: "B's totally lying!"
Only one of these little bastards is telling the truth and all the others are, needless to say, lying. Can you figure out who ate the sausages?

I'll say C just because he's not accusing anyone. C ate the damn sausages. He is guilty.

That's the correct answer, not exactly for the right reason, but correct nonetheless.

Basically, if A, B, or D were guilty, that would mean that in each case, 2 of the boys would be telling the truth, and we know that only one can be telling the truth.

With C being guilty, we know that only D is telling the truth.

nah in my version C is guilty because he openly defended himself while the other three were pointing the finger or defending their position. It shows guilt and remorse.

Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.

Not exactly. Think about a specific part of his biography.

Somebody else is gonna have to get this one. All I know about Roosevelt is Rough Riders, San Juan Hill, the Square Deal, "speak softly and carry a big stick", and Mount Rushmore.

Sorry I killed the thread: the answer is the palindrome, "A man, a plan, a canal: Panama."

Yup, Its an easy one on paper, but it was on the radio in ATL a couple of years ago and about 10 people missed it in a row until my daughter called in and nailed it. When she called to tell me what happened, she asked me the riddle and I got it right too. I think she won tickets to some concert.
