The most frustrating thing watching Spiller is unless we totally suck this season we won't get a shot at him, unless he gets caught with a shemale streetwalker, or arrested for grand theft auto.
Those youtube clips remind me of the old silent film era movies of the Keystone Cops where everything seems sped up. There is no way at normal film speed that a human could be moving that fast.

    :sidelol:

MC, he ran a 4.25 freshman or soph year, and he said that running track has made him faster than that. You're also watching an All American 60m/100 sprinter.

Try watching the other guys who are moving much slower next to him!!

What's probably more impressive about C.J. Spiller is the fact that he can go that fast and then stop on a dime. I've watched him a few times and there was one play that I'll never forget where he hit the flats on a swing pass and then ran up field. A defender goes to stop him and he just makes one quick cut, then another one is running with him and Spiller stops on a dime while the defender just runs past him and then he turns on the jets again for the touch down.

Not sure. I didn't watch them. That was just a memory of mine of Spiller.

Speaking impartially again...the thing I noticed when watching CJ and Bush is like what you just said Alen. CJ takes it to a new level. When CJ starts and stops and goes...and changes extreme direction at higher speeds, he does it in sharp angles with very few steps. He reaches top gear in about 4 steps... stops and changes direction in 1-2 short ones...then hits top gear again in 4....and almost has a reserve overdrive gear for when he really needs to blow by somebody.

When I watched Reggie, IMO it took him an extra step to reach top speed, he's not as quick in short bursts, and when he starts and stops- it's not as abrupt, taking an extra baby step or two to do so...and his extreme change of direction while running was arched, and not the sharp point A to point B angles that I see in Spiller.

This is no slight against Reggie. Until I saw CJ, I thought Bush was one of the best pure runners in this manner that I had ever seen...besides Barry of course.

I saw Warrick Dunn a few times live in college, and I can say that CJ and Warrick are eerily similar.... except that CJ has a higher top speed and he runs stronger.

I gathered that it was from personal experience...but I wasn't sure which run it was to relate to it, so I was just curious if it were on his highlight reel so I could see which one you're referring to. :D
