When you've got a guy who can break every rule in the book for a big man, and he's bigger, stronger, and more athletic than the other guys to begin with... yeah, it must be nice.

Maybe I'm old fashion, but I've got much more respect for the way Tim Duncan plays the game.

Yes, I know. I blame Dwyane Wade (sad because he had a 40+ scoring night with 4 steals) more than ANYTHING tonight. Why did he take those two jumpshots when he was guarded straight up by a guy who doesn't even know what defense is? The previous 3-4 possessions he got layups... easily. Not to mention the missed FT right after when we were only down three.

I hate the fact that he falls in love with his jumper late in games when he's far better going to the basket. Either he makes the bucket or gets the foul when he takes it to the rack, especially late in games. I don't understand the infatuation with the jumpshot. Stop trying to be Michael.

I guarantee you that Miami goes up 4 instead of down 3 if he takes it to the rack. Howard wasn't even contesting his shots with the fear of picking up a fifth foul.

Very solid chance. Unfortunately, I think we're going to be screwed into the 6th seed despite the fact that we're a far better team than Philly. I think we'd sweep Philly in a four game series. They're just one of those tough, grind it out type of teams. Nothing really to write home about.

I'd be STUNNED if we manage to go 2-1 in our next three @Dallas, @Charlotte, and @Washington. Forget about Dallas, it seems like Charlotte always blows us out up there, and Gilbert Arenas is back. We're a JV team on the road. We then come home for New Orleans, then travel @Boston. We're screwed, IMO.

I've got two personal toss up's in there, one goes in our favor, one doesn't... that's @ Charlotte and vs. New Orleans.

Simply put: We need to beat the teams we are without question better than. If you look over the month of March, Dear Lord! Look at some of our losses, dude. We lost to New Jersey without Devin Harris. We lost to Philadelphia in a game where we were up by 9 points late into the fourth quarter. Chicago crushed us. We lost by a missed buzzer beater @ Indiana. We should have won at least 3 of those 4 games. I know it's going to haunt us. It's just the law of sports.

I hate looking ahead so much and I know it annoys the hell out of you guys. I'm just worried. Funny thing is, we're PRAYING to face a team that is almost unbeatable at home (Atlanta).

 

The Charlotte game, dude. We ****ing need it. Maybe Gerald Wallace gets hurt tomorrow night... it's a 50/50 chance every night with him. He's a Heat killer.

We need those two games @ Charlotte and @ Washington against the bottom scums of our division to get on a roll coming back home for New Orleans. New Orleans is one of those "top teams" that don't scare me at all on the road.

 

And I apologize to Erik Spoelstra... Daequan Cook needs to hit the inactive list; activate Dorell.

He has completely lost his ability to do anything. Not just shoot, but he's not confident on defense either. I don't see anything in his eyes anymore. Did his dog die?

 

And Chris Quinn...

Well, Timmy looked in shape during the ceremony tonight. 10 day?

 

DQ should have never been allowed to play in the 3 point shootout...

Those damn exhibitions are not good for young players and the brief moment of fame got to his head. I think we would be seeing a different player if he skipped out on the competition.

 

Thaddeus Young is hurt.... and it looks pretty bad.

 

Tonight showed the importance of why we need that fifth seed. Atlanta is ****ing terrible on the road... Almost as horrible as Miami is. All it would take is taking care of them at home and Wade going off in 1/4 games @ Atlanta. Trust me.

Dude $5,000 per stand alone tickets are worth seeing Wade in the playoffs, LOL.... I'll be at every playoff game although I'm afraid to. The last playoff game I went to ended with a thrown water bottle and a damn sweep.

I'm already scouting Boston with League Pass for our first round matchup. We have a chance to take them to a respectable 6 or 7 games (no shot at winnng) with K.G. Banged up.

Our March losses to New Jersey without Devin Harris, Boston without K.G. and Ray Allen, Indiana without Dunleavy who torched us for 30+ earlier in the year, and Chicago kills us. No excuse for not winning two of those.

If Dwyane Wade has any balls... he jumps on top of the scorer's table in Dallas tonight and screams, "THIS IS MY ****ING HOUSE!!!"

I mean, really, it is. And it always will be. He can go 0-10 there for the rest of his career. It's his house. P.S. Mark Cuban eat a...........
