You may be right. I just think the writers realized Tony is valuable and a fan favorite and would make sense to keep him around considering there is no one else on Jack's side that could help him out, besides Chloe, and she isn't going to be killing people left and right.
Last nights episode was good but really unrealistic, even for me, i mean seriously the most unrealistic thing in 24 history happen last night and no one even mentioned it, yet they mention how hard it would actually be to take over the white house. I mean no way someone would leave their Mac Book in the car like that, you are just asking for it to be stolen, how stupid could you be?
last nights episode is still stuck in my head. was anyone else shocked the the senator was shot and killed like that? i sure was the writers must have a lot of tricks up their sleeves to discard a character like that after he starts making a turn
It's possible. I still think there's more to why Ethan and the daughter don't like each other. And you're right Ethan and the President do sometimes give weird vibes and awkward moments. I'm not sure I like the President very much. She's not very strong and keeps asking others for advice, really unsure of herself. I wonder if she'll be back next year.
I was. I actually screamed at the TV when it happened. Really took me by surprise. I actually like the President. Yeah she asks for advice but doesn't every other President? Is that true? Didn't know that.
yeah i just found out like a month ago reading one of those smut magazines. She was/is dating young blonde from the Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
What's one more? It's not like it's not a joke already. Bring back Sherri Palmer! You would! You're right all of the Presidents ask for advice but I just feel as though she's very unsure of herself and really doesn't look comfortable as the big boss. It worked great for Logan's character and I feel as though the writers blew it big time with Wayne Palmer but for whatever reason she just, I don't know how to explain it just seems weak? Is that a good word to explain it?
I'm willing to bet that Jack wasn't exposed to the chemical weapon, in fact I'm willing to bet that it wasn't actually a chemical weapon yet and first had to be mixed with something. I did get mad at Jack for the first time in a long time for not listening to Tony and saving that guy's life instead of continuing with the mission. Jack is getting soft now, I blame Renee. And that deed better not cost Tony his life now.
Yeah, I don't think he was exposed either, but we do get to see Jack half naked next week! I'm actually nervous about Tony's situation. I would be upset if he bit the dust, but I think he'll survive.
That comment now suddenly explains an awful lot about you.... Not that there's anything wrong with that
it would be a pretty silly way for him to die. after bringing him back from the dead and giving him pretty minimal screen time over the past few weeks.
I don't like The Prez daughter. She's an ambitious lying *****. I think karma is going to get her down the road.
Some strong rumors/spoilers for the end of Season 7 and start of Season 8, read at your own risk. Don't say I didn't warn you. Spoiler -It looks like Jack is indeed exposed by whatever was in the truck, Kim Bauer will make her return this season to see Jack after hearing he's sick (along with a husband and daughter). -A 24 favorite is around until at least the last episode of the season, no word on his/her fate though during that episode. -There will be a cliffhanger/tie in at the end of this season to lead into Season 8. -Season 8 is going to start 6 weeks after Season 7 ends, meaning President Taylor will return, as will Jack (obviously).
Spoiler I'll hate myself if it is too. I don't want Jack being sick. I do however like how the Seasons will be weeks apart, it makes it pretty interesting and new at least. I got the information from a leaked 24 Season 7 DVD listing of deleted scenes. 2 of the scenes are about first Renee telling Kim Bauer that Jack is sick and the other is Jack talking to Kim about it. So the hope I have is that maybe there were deleted for a reason and Jack isn't really going to be sick. I guess we'll find out on Monday. The other stuff is from a newspaper report with one of the writers/creators about the President and how next season is weeks apart.
Looking a guy in the eye and promising him you have his back and then turning around and watching him get executed would be hard for even Jack Bauer. It probably is Renee's fault though. I don't think Tony will die. I hope not. I'm still not over Bill's death.
Spoiler what i dont get is that the writers seem to be in tune with the fans. dont they know she is the most hated character ever?
It is weird, it seems like Bill has been dead for three weeks, but in reality, its only been 3 hours!
Spoiler I think Kim gets a bad rap, I blame it more on the writers not having any good storylines for her after the half way point of Season 2. She was good in Season 1, she was suppose to be an annoying teenage girl and did well with it. Her few scenes with Jack in Season 2 were great too, especially the phone call Jack had with her when she thought he was going to dying on the plane with the bomb and the last episode when she told Jack she was going to take care of him. Really Season 3 she was annoying and had no business being there, again I blame the writers for putting her in the season just to put her in, they really should have written her out or had her just be in 3 with a cameo or something. She wasn't bad in Season 5 either in my opinion.
Man, 24 can do no wrong this season. I loved the fake out with Jack going into commerical thinking he was fine. And also the fake out with Tony and "Slater" from Dazed and Confused. I have a better feeling of Tony surviving this season now that Jack is sick. I think Tony will be transformed into the new Jack while Jack takes more of a Tony/Director role for Season 8, assuming he or Tony survives. Where's Chloe though? She's been in maybe 5 or 6 episodes all season, I wonder if she'll be back.
That was a killer episode. I never saw the twists coming at all, and I liked how the episode featured people other than Jack. Just proves that the whole cast is fantastic.
I saw the last twist coming, but I wasn't sure who all knew what was going to happen, if you know what I mean. (Lookin' out for ya, West Coast.)
