Well another exciting day for us......my across the street neighbors had their house broken into today. Seems like the police and neighbors say they only took about $ 100 in change, but the house is all messed up. They didn't tak a flat-screen TV or a computer, so it looks like maybe they were only after money & jewelry.

I also urged (backed by the police detective) to get them to get an alarm system. Its worth the $ 33.12 I pay each and every month.

 

Were they in the house?

 

These two days from hell are finally OVER.

 

Lucky. I got one more. Damn nine weeks exams.

So the gas guy came by at 8:00 pm and got the water heater turned on. Said it would take 30 minutes to warm up. At 8:15 our whole neighborhood went dark, power outage. I raged hard. I hate Lake Worth Utilities. Power came back on about 15 minutes ago.

 

Why did you guys have a power outage.

 

With LWU it can happen when a squirrel farts on a powerline.

 

Nope Nila, she has physical therapy every Wednesday at 10am becuase she had knee and back surgery a couple of years ago, so she and her husband (Rejillio) were gone to the hospital. So they came home around 1pm (they usually go out to lunch before coming home) and found their front door slightly ajar, a window in the hall bathroom cut out, and the bedrooms a messed up and the dining room liquor cabinet cleaned out.
