Alright, so I've been at home all day. It's been nearly a perfect day off. Minimal distractions from work, an awesome italian sub sandwich from Mr. Goodcents for lunch, some great early games ... Mrs. Odin and I enjoyed some afternoon dessert ... more games lined up tonight, Patron Margaritas and Tequila Lime Chicken ... things couldn't be better.

And my mother-in-law walks in the door, unannounced.

 

Advice: Get hammered and watch basketball all night.

Im leaving for the in-laws tommorow in Kure Beach and thats basically my plan.

 

I can't overstate how overbearing and obnoxious my mother-in-law is. She's like the ones you see in sitcoms. Remember George Costanza's mom? Think like her, more obnoxious, and less shrill.

The only good thing about college baseball is the use of metal bats. There is always the hope that one will slip out of the batter's hands and go careening off of the pitcher's head, thus ending the game early.

But only if you cross your fingers REALLY hard.

In all honesty though. I feel that I won this argument. Slightly, but nonetheless a victory. It remind me of these two hobos I saw wrestling on the street. At the end, both were still toothless, smelly and completely winded, but one of them still had a pair of pants on.
