I think that the potential for a Blake Griffin / Tyler Hansborough showdown has the potential to be epic.

 

It would, but Oklahoma's not getting there.

BTW, I said it before and I'll say it again: Hansbrough should have gone pro last year. His draft stock has fallen hugely, and unless he just destroys everyone in the NCAA tournament, he might be out of round 1 in the draft.

 

Michigan made it as a 10 seed and I couldn't be happier!!!

Sorry, but there are probably At Least 6 teams more deserving. This is absolutely absurd.

 

6th for my Bruins. It's gonna be tough especially without Love, Westbrook, and Moute but I believe in them. Still, stranger things have happened (see Gonzaga comeback).

This is getting ridiculous. Is the selection committee getting nice retirement homes in Arizona as compensation at least?

Btw, I have the same exact final 4 and championship game.

 

I've got Mega March Madness this year from DirecTV, so I've been watching the 3 early games.

BYU vs. Texas A&M: BYU has tried to stay in it, but they're outmached. Pretty boring game.

Butler vs. LSU: LSU looks tough, but Butler has just been resilient. Shaping up to be a good game here.

CSUN vs. Memphis: This just in - Northridge came to play. They just hit a pullup 3 to take the lead with 13:52 left to play. Memphis has several players in foul trouble, and the potential for an upset is looking more likely by the minute.

 

Man I have Memphis winning it to the National Title Game ... but this Northridge team isn't going away. It's 55-55 with under 12 to play ... they've answered every time that Memphis has tired to make a run. This is a damn good game.

 

Memphis pulled out ahead but I gotta congratulate CSU Northridge on their efforts. They're not a pushover CUSA team. 2 of 3 so far (Butler loss).

 

Minnesota up 10 early on Texas!!

American up 10 at halftime!! That would bust some bracket's, but will the hot shooting keep up in the 2nd half?

Reynolds has to do better then 1/9/8TO's between this game the Louisville game in the Big East Tourney if they want to win.

American started out strong, and looked good in the second half, but man they ran out of gas in the last 4 minutes.

That seems to be the story of the day so far in Round 1. Northridge looked the same way, and Akron seems to be having the same issue against the Zags. They just can't close the deal today.

 

LOL @ me changing my "Clemson over Michigan" pick to "Michigan over Clemson" at literally 11am this morning from my iPhone during class... that's funny. My bracket because of that remains perfect right now.

American came out flying the first 4 mns of the 2nd half and when Nova went to the full court pressure American looked lost. They couldnt settle in to their halfcourt and get Carr and some of their other guys off screens that were freeing their shooters for 3's in the 1st half (8/15 from 3/1st half). Nova just wrecked them from that 16 minute mark outscoring them by like 30 the rest of the way. I think Nova is at their best when they play a little reckless and create havoc. Reynolds is a feisty dude and he seems to thrive on it

I swear if there is a better four days of the year for sports then the first four days of the NCAA tourney please someone let me know when those days are cause I cant find them. I love the constant game action!

 

I bought Mega March Madness and took two days off of work ... the games have all been solid today, I've been thoroughly entertained.

Not surprisingly, VCU and UCLA is shaping up to be a good one.

 

Eh Im fine with CBS but I did take a sick day tomorrow. As far as work is concerned...im sick *cough cough*

 

It's only good when UCLA wins...
