Yup one of these threads. Stats are: R, H, HR, RBI, SB, TB, AVG, OBP, IP, W, CG, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP. Roto setup.

I wasn't really worried about pitching because there is always a bunch of guys that step up. Plus there is no limit on IP or moves allowed so if i start to fall behind i can always stream.

    C: Pablo Sandoval
    1st: Justin Morneau
    2nd: Placido Polanco
    SS: Jose Reyes
    3rd: Aubrey Huff
    OF: Carlos Beltran
    OF: Curtis Granderson
    OF: Magglio Ordonez
    Util: Andre Ethier
    BN: Howie Kendrick

    SP: Roy Oswalt
    SP: Adam Wainwright
    RP: Jonathan Broxton
    RP: Brandon Lyon
    P: Scott Baker
    P: Clayton Kershaw
    P: Erik Bedard
    BN: Jose Arredondo
    BN: Jonathan Sanchez
    BN: Mike Pelfrey
    BN: Mark Buehrle

    What do you guys think?

Solid pitchers. Sandoval's been on my sleeper list for some time. I could envision cutting a pitcher or two to help out on the bench. Maybe a backup C or 3B in case Huff regresses and you need to move Sandoval.

C and 2B are weak, probably need another power bat or two. A guy like Justin Upton, lastings Milledge or Travis Hafner could be ready to bust out or rebound. You may want to look in to Saltalamacchia or Witers if theyre available at C.

Pitching wise its not bad at all. I go for hitters first also because Im good at finding FA P's. In roto format you need multiple CL and Holds guys. Jason Motte, Mike Gonzalez, heath Bell, and Chad Qualls could be some under the radar closers still available. As far as Holds Putz, Ziegler or Devine (The loser of the closer job) and Saito/Okijima are some of the high impact guys but Zumaya (hes healthy), Chad Bradford, and Damaso Marte are some decent guys who could fly under the radar.

I like what Sandoval could do for the Giants at 3B. He also has C eligibility at least for this year. Estimated 10-15 HR's and .300 BA is bad for a 3B but awesome for a C. Any notables in FA left?

Its a 14 team league so there isn't much to pick from. All the hitters you mentioned were drafted. I'm worried about my power as well. Ill have to check the pitchers out. Devine was drafted the pick right in front of me. I was not happy.

In a 14 team league hes acceptable, in a 8 or 10 team league he is borderline. Wasnt sure how deep the league was.

If youre looking for sleeper SP's keep an eye on: Cris Carpenter (got him 16th round), Fausto Carmona (22nd rd), Rick Porcello (19 y/old should get the tigers 5th starter job), Neftali Feliz (19 y/old could take the Rangers 5th starter job), Dallas Braden (Pitching well for Oakland), Chris Volstad (Pretty sure last year was legit), and Nick Adenhart (Better then he pitched last year).

My breakthrough candidate of the year is going to come across as a homer pick but its not. Its Mike Pelfrey. I expect him to become Webb or Hudson esque. Last year once Peterson was canned and wasnt messing with the kid anymore he became a ground ball machine. His whip in april, may and june was awful. His July and August were an indication to me of what he will become. Last year he had never thrown more then 140IP and jumped to 200. I attribute that to his bad September.
