Oh, I still am loving this season. It's been the best since season 4, for my money. I'm just disappointed that the one subpar episode this season happened to come at the mid-season two-hour "event."
he said he was going to the Pentagon before the attack hmmmmm..... EDIT: sorry i posted before reading the rest of the thread
if we are going to get nit picky, im sure the designers of the the same room would have thought that in the event that the president would have to use that room, that the people who were able to break in would be able to cut off phone lines. i would think there would be a plan for that...like a phone or internet line that goes directly into the ground and out to somewhere else so it cant be cut or "jammed". the more we talk about it, the sillier the episode seems
what if the "inside guy" had access to all that?? then what? You notice how Voights character had access to knowing The 1st kid was in the white house within seconds. Stop nitpicking
thats true. i hadnt considered the "inside guy" rebuttal. it pretty much negates any argument lol. i think the voight character has some serious potential. he is a very skillful actor and i was already really sucked in to what little screen time he had. he is a great bad guy. he just has this way about him that makes him above it all i do however accept that there would people from sangala in sensitive positions. i would bet its the same reason we probably have iranians in those same positions today i still cant get passed jack opening that door. maybe next week will make it all better. i hope. im still nowhere passed accepting that an assault team can break into the white house, but i have no choice in that either lol
I heard that and I'm very scared since its: Spoiler suppose to be a long time 24 character character who is a fan favorite who dies trying to protect the President.... therefore I could only be down to Tony, Bill or Aaron. Hopefully it will be Aaron since he's a useless character now while Bill and Tony could still have interesting storylines lined up for the rest of the season. But my guess is its Bill.
Well, I had a feeling it would be Bill. He was great this season as well as all the others he's been in. Thankfully they gave him a silent clock. Decent episode. The upcoming ones look amazing.
I thought tonights episode was very good. Sad that Bill is gone but his death was done well. Should be interesting the rest of the way.
Well I was wrong about Aaron Great show tonight. It was nice to see someome on the bad side do a good job (Quinn)
Yeh I also thought he was the one. It made sense. Good episode, IMO. Made up for last weeks debacle. Next week looks very good. This season is turning out to be the best season for about 4 yrs.
Nice recovery. Sad to see Bill go, but he really should have been toast last week. At least his death was meaningful, and they did a nice job closing up the mini-arc started outside Jack's holding cell when Bill said he wasn't cut out to do what Jack does. On another note -- tear gas??? Wow, Voight's guys mean business. I am so intrigued to find out what his game is, as he's hoping to avoid a serious bloodletting. Ethan once again proved himself to be one of the good guys. And the president's daughter is a stone-cold beyotch.
RIP Bill I loved Bills Character, sad to see him go. He had a great run! but im glad to see Morris is in next episode!
That's what I meant. Tear gas wouldn't have been that impressive. It was late; I was tired. Excuses, excuses ... blah, blah.
i still dont trust that guy. He looked scared once the 1st Kid said shes going to investigate the staff.
I didn't get scared ... I got pissed. Here he is, already stretching his neck out to keep the president in Plausible Deniabilityland with the continued Burnett interrogation. Then he agrees to swallow his pride and acquiesce to the president's request to personally invite the first kid back into the fold, and she throws it in his face. I'd have a look like that, too.
My wife was actually crying when Bill died. Gunna miss that guy, great character. They're really making up for last season's mess.
I thought it was the poorest episode of the season.. The melodramatic mother - daughter plot line dragged a bit..
yeah pissed because he thinks he in the clear and she's going to ruin his plan again im just speculating.
I can definitly say Walker is starting to grow on to me. If it was left up to Moss everyone would have been killed and the show would be over.
the casting of jon voight was above all the best thing the producers did to get this show going again. he is a hollywood heavyweight perfectly suited to this role. i dont automatically hate him which is great. we still dont know who he is really or what he wants
i agree. i keep wanting to think he is a bad guy, but he keeps proving us wrong. maybe he is just a really sophisticated bad guy, but i havent seen it yet
OK for the people who said Bill Should have died last week, think about this, at the time they found Bill, they realized the President might be in a safe house or hiding, so before that, they had no need for hostages... They saw bill had the tracker and was like, if we dont have the president, we need hostages.
i think the first daughter is going to screw things up by investing. At first I thought Ethan was the bad guy but he surprises me on the good things he does and not wanting the Prez to have any liability on letting Jack do his thang & allowing Jack to torture Burnett. Moss needs to go. He's just jealousy cus Walker spends more time with Jack than him. I think he use to be lovers or something (Moss & Walker). Plus, he was quick to suspend Walker. Atleast, wait until the investigation is over to punish Walker for going over his head & not following a direct orders. I also don't like the other FBI glass wearing agent that works for Moss. She rubs me the wrong way with her look. I didn't like the seeing in the room with Jack & Burnett where the guys jumps down and disables Jack and kills off Burnett.
Spoiler According to Entertainment Weekly there are going to be 2 major deaths between now and the end of the season.
Wow, another great episode! Just when I was starting to like the Senator... Anyone else get shady vibes from Olivia? This season has been so good and it's just going to get better. I'm excited to see Jack and Tony fight together again.
I'm fearful that one might be Tony. But would the writers bring him back from the dead only to be killed not even a full season later? Since everyone else in Jack's life is dead, I think Tony should be one they keep by his side.
Ah anything with Tony is a bonus. I don't think he'll survive though unfortunately. I think the writers just had him come back to give his character a proper send off. Hopefully I'm wrong but if I were to bet I'd say Tony and Larry Moss die.
