Beat Charlotte again, 92-80 this time, bit more of a decisive win. Alston did alright for his first game with Orlando, 3pts, 8 assists. We finally made it to 40 wins!
At least we have ONeal to combat Dwight. Dwight vs. Anthony would have been a blood bath. Dwight is still going to beat JO, but not like he would have Anthony...

Should be an easy win for Orlando. Any decent team should be able to defeat a team that starts Yakuba Diawara at SF. He's the worst ****ing player in the NBA.
That was my thought coming in when I read that Diawara is still starting....... and the fact that this coach of ours only gives Michael Beasley 20-25 minutes of PT regardless of performance.
That is interesting. Why isn't Beasley getting less pt? High draft pick like him should be getting more pt this far into the season not to mentioned how much better he is.
This is Erik Spoelstra's reasoning: "Beasley is a four and although he's capable of playing some three, we won't play him there because we don't want to confuse him." He's said that multiple times. Probably once per week. Is that not the most absurd thing you've ever heard? Being able to play multiple positions should be beneficial.
We had a great first half, but there's still a long way to go. Dwight Howard has 19 points. Wade's having a great game for Miami with 27 so far, and ended the half with a nice slam.
Magic win 122-99 Howard had 32 for us and Wade had a career high 50 for the Heat! Good game Heat fans.
Embarrassing display, but we're not really that bad. Just a poor game by a team lacking chemistry right now, with a new starting center and SF in the rotation. I'm not making excuses, though. Orlando is obviously the superior team in 2009, but I'm just saying we're not as bad as it looked out there today. Anyway, good luck the rest of the season, guys... give Boston and Cleveland hell.
I was at the game yesterday. it was great expirence. Wade was incredible while the rest of the heat looked pathetic. some of that can go to Magics defense though. Dwight was monster again tonight. skip made some great passes got into a rythem and then Stan sat him for a loooong period of time. i didnt like that decision, but whatever. Courtney Lee is even more impressive in person then he is on TV. Michael Beasley is less impressive in person. hes got a long ways to go to become the player i thought he would be. GO MAGIC
Lost to 'Da Bulls tonight 102-120 They were ahead by a minimum of 5 points for almost the entire game. Hopefully we'll play a little better against the Knicks in NY tomorrow night.
Bulls came out shooting great at home with 56.5% on the night. We kept it close for a while, but let's hope this team plays with more energy.
Damn, we lost to Detroit again! They played better WITHOUT Iverson tonight. This week, it's been win, lose, win, lose, ...win? Let's get it done in Philly tomorrow night.
Magic beat Shaq and the Suns! Shaq's been playing pretty good as of late, but it didn't matter tonight. It's only a two game win streak, but let's keep it going when the Nets come to O'town on Friday night.
We beat the Nets 105-102 at home Friday night., that's 4 wins in the last 5 games. Now we can get on to that rematch in Boston on Sunday. They won't have Garnett for about another week, so we'll see if that makes a difference or not. Sunday at 1pm, it should be a good game!
This is a huge game, Kevin Garnett or not. Beating them is still a nice feather in the ole Magic hat.

im so tired of the ****in pistons. hopefully we dont see them in the playoffs. but something that happend to me yesterday eased the pain of the loss. i get a call from a buddy whos a bartender, says some guy is up there with tickets to wednesdays game for cheap(i juuuust happen to be off work wednesday), so i go up to the bar, talk to the guy. he has 4 lower section seats(priced at $99 on ticket) and a parking pass for...you ready for this? $50 TOTAL. i hand him a $50 dollar bill, tell him thank you very much and have a nice day.
I don't know man, every time we play them they beat us, at home or in Detroit. And they've knocked us out of the playoffs the last two years.
