I hate clowns. Not because they look scary, I don't think they are. They creep me out because they are generally men who like to be around kids so much that they learned this "craft" and then essentially disguise themselves to do it. That is just flat skeevy to me.

I'm with you. They have always creeped me out. Like you, I never understood why any adult would want to disguise themselves to "entertain" children. They do look scary to me, I can't stand them. Didn't that child abducter Gacy?? dress like a clown to lure kids?
I think he worked as a clown, but I do believe he killed teenage boys. The clown thing was more of a cover then a means to an end. I could be wrong though.....
Yes he did. I recently saw an exposé on that dude.....what a total sicko, I mean a real pervert. Weirdest thing is, his wife, and two children lived in his house with apparently no clue as to what he was doing. There were 39 bodies buried beneath the house and they knew nothing ? I find it hard to believe.
I think it was boys. He was a real sicko. Him and the ugly clown in the movie "It" by stephen king are scary as heck.

I've seen adults LOSE IT...cry in terror at the sight of a clown. I wonder what it is about them? It must have at least a little to do with the creepiness of an adult wanting to be around children while in disguise...but Ithink a lot a;so has to do with the way they can not be smiling at all, but the face paint makes it seem otherwise. I just know they creep the **** out of me. Dolls, even worse.

I am with you man... They creep me out too. When I visit my grandmother, I make her take all the dolls out of the room I am going to sleep in.
