    Atlanta: 20-26 FT's

    Miami: 8-10 FT's

I especially loved how Joe Johnson starts falling down ..then steps on Wade's foot....

Wade gets called for the foul. Joe Johnson makes 2 FT's...

so instead of Hawks 84-80 with Heat ball..it became 86-80 Hawks.

So Section... are you still not bothered by the lack of playing time Beasley is getting?

Hes playing better defense. Hes being more aggressive on the boards. And hes our best player not named Wade.

Only 25min last night... yet our leading scorer. Not playing Beasley more is costing us games at this point...

I think Spo found something tonight with his rotations....

Beasley at the 4 is a monster.

I think we will see him in the 4th quarter much more.

Beasley next to JO is even better.

I saw the future last night and the future is Haslem off the bench as our top power rotation guy.

I do think that we need to do something at the 3 spot. Moon should start. Jones should come off the bench..and Diawara should be a situational defender.

I could care less about rotations at this point. Just get Beasley on the floor and leave him there.

Playing time for him are all I care about right now...

BTW...I am changing my mind...Beasley is NOT a 20 and 10 PF in this league.

He is a 25 and 10 PF in this league.

    He is Chris Bosh.

In fact..we might have to rethink what we will do in 2010.

And the officiating was TERRIBLE last night. Not the reason we lost... I blame that on coaching because the team was as flat as can be. Both teams were.

Nothing disturbs me more than the ball being in Haslem's hands in a crucial moment.

Jesus Christ he's a huge mistake waiting to happen... whether it's a turnover, travel, or AIR BALL from UNDERNEATH the basket.

Wow... did any of you guys hear SPOELSTRA cuss on Sun Sports post game?

When asked about making any adjustments in the 4th Q, he said,

"I simplified the offense after the skirmish. I told the guys, give the ball to Dwyane and get the **** out of the way."

That was the greatest performance I've ever seen from Wade. Better than the Finals.

I had never seen anything like that in my life...

**** Kobe and Bron... Wade just dropped his balls on their "great" performance against the Knicks...

Krypto Nate was acting like a clown when he was filling it up.

BTW, Wade and Nate are boys....

but nate deserved to get Waded.

That goofball Gallinari was pretty free with his elbows as well.

Anyway, this game had to hurt the Knicks. They shot like 580% from three. They played about as well as they could..and they still couldn't hold off God.

No more of this Kobe crap. The best SG in the game plays in Miami.

BTW, Jamario Moon....we gotta re-sign him. LOL.

    This guy is a player.

If he can become a consistent 12 point 7 rebound SF for us and occasionally pop off like he did yesterday..we are gonna be hard to beat.

JO played a great floor game. Did everything well..and hit some big buckets too.

BTW HD, Haslem did make some important plays in game 6 of the finals..and has always come up big int eh clutch..so needless to say..I disagree with your assesment.

Agreed with this. I really don't understand why Haslem gets so much flak. Remember two seasons ago when Riley called his number to shoot the game-winning FG in a game against (I think) the Bulls? When people use the phrase "he does everything that's asked of him," they're talking about Haslem.

With Haslem, we have to deal with his weak points. Offense is not his strong suite. We need to understand and deal with it, because he will never be a main option on offense, just shoot if hes open. if he makes it great, if not, well, he had better get the Re. Hes a good rebounder and a good(not great) defensive player, and well, hes pretty much a good role player that is a good piece to have around.

Actually...Haslem is a very efficient offensive player.

He just picks up the scraps. He is not a primary option.

Just noticed something...all the Heat players on the NBA.com player pages are wearing suits. (The Heat apparantly sent the promotional pictures to the NBA)

and JO is still in his Raptors Uniform.

pretty much what i was saying, but offense is just not the strong part of his game. Sure, sometimes he catches fire and hits that jumpshot, but most of the time i would not look to Udon to make a shot when the shotclock is winding down, even from point-blank range.

Saying offense isn't a part of his game is saying he's bad at offense. Section is saying Haslem is good on offense, he's just so low on the totem pole--because why would you take the ball away from guys like Wade, Beasley, and JO in the first place?--that he rarely gets offensive touches.

This is like saying catching the ball isn't really part of a #4 WR's game. If he couldn't catch, he wouldn't be a WR. Unless his name was Derek Hagan.

I love Udonis Haslem. What I dislike is the fact that we actually attempt to put the ball in his hands and ask him to make a play. It's not his fault. It's the coach and the team's fault. He should never be asked to make a play on offense. Hit the wide open jump shot... put up a shot in the paint when you're at an advantage... fine. But why on earth is he sometimes asked to create his own shot? He has no ability in that sense. It stuns the living crap out of me every time he puts the ball on the floor looking to make a move. You just know something bad is about to happen. That's all I'm saying.

Dammit. Every single freaking time I go on vacation I miss out on a monster Wade performance.. Does anyone have a link to the 4th quarter?

I was on vacation when he scored the last 17 against the Pistons a few years ago... ARGGGGGGGHHHHHH.

D-Wade is 20 blocks short of the most blocks in a single season by a player 6'4 or shorter.

He's truly something special. Often times the media gets into this frenzy about his PPG, but man, are his numbers complete or what? I was just taking an overall glance at his numbers... amazing.

    29.0 PPG (48.6%)
    7.4 APG
    5.0 RPG
    2.1 SPG
    1.4 BPG

And although 3.4 TPG might be regarded as a lot, it's his lowest turnover count since his rookie season in a year he's carrying the biggest load of his career.

It doesn't get any better for a 6'4 guard on a team where he's the only All Star.

FYI: A glance at LeBron's numbers:

    28.3 PPG (48.8%)
    7.1 APG
    7.3 RPG
    1.7 SPG
    1.2 BPG

Wade's numbers are slightly more impressive due to the fact that he's a guard and four inches shorter with more blocked shots. The rebounds are supposed to be about that. While we're just playing the overall numbers game which means absolutely nothing... Kobe Bryant doesn't even participate in this discussion. Durant's numbers are prettier.

And 58 games in and the guy hasn't missed a game yet... unbelievable.

Hats off to Dwyane's conditioning coach. We owe him a year's supply of grocery shopping or something. This is a guy who couldn't stay on the court for a stretch of 15 games.
