I like Macho. I was disapointed that he did not come out last year. If he is still on the board @ pick 25, I would like to draft him.

If he's anything similar to or as talented as B. Flowers, then it would be a tempting pick.

I've seen him play and I don't think he is nearly as athletic as that article claims. He looks to have stiff hips at times to me, and gets beat on slants a lot. I've never seen him turn and run with a receiver.

He does have great hands for a corner and a violent streak as far as tackling goes. He WILL lay a hit on a guy. In my opinion he should be a mid-late second rounder.

I have seen him play vs. great WR's and return picks, lay big hits, and play damn good coverage. All players including Macho have weaknesses that must be addressed. I think he is athletic enough to hold his own in the NFL.

There is one thing you will never have to worry about Macho...HIS HEART. The guy just loves to play the game and respects coaches, players and FANS!

Last year Bud Foster had told me that Chris Ellis and Brandon Flowers were gonna be solid defensive players at the next level. When I asked about Macho...his response was that he is a special player that will excel at the next level.

There is NO CHARACTER concerns with him.

I know he is not talked about as a TOP 3 CB in this class, before the draft. But after the rookie seasons I think it will be V.Davis, M. Jenkins & Victor Macho Harris as the TOP 3 Rookie DB's. All 3 of them should be starters within a couple of seasons. I really think all 3 are going to be household names as part of the next gen DB's.

Well I've seen this guy play and I see a physical, aggressive play maker that can run anywhere on the field you want him to run. I see no shortage of athleticism and this guy dominates games. So can he be a first rounder? Absolutely. Not many corners I've seen look better. Macho Harris and Coye Francies are two of my favorites right next to Malcolm Jenkins.

His hips just don't look very fluid to me and his speed (while not bad) didn't impress me all that much. He looked to me like any other college corner but more physical.

I've only seen 3-4 games of his though that I recall.

I like Macho a lot, I just think that he sometimes is over-confident on the field.

I don't see anything wrong with his hips. In fact, they're really quick.

He reads presnap plays very well, that leads to him jumping routes. He can be overly aggressive and get burned. That will be one of the key parts of his learning process in the NFL.

If he keeps trying to jump every route, he will be on the bench with a ton of talent. However, if he learns to not take as many risk...he could be a great corner / free safety in the NFL.

I love the kid for his play and character. When he was burned in the kitchen house-fire, the 1st thing he asked was about his brother & sister. When Beamer told him in the hospital things would be okay. He says something like it has to b/c my little brother & sister need me.

The kid has a passion for the game and great value with family. If he slips to the 2nd round like most mock drafts project. I think Miami will take a long look at him with the our first 2nd round pick.

Miami's secondary is in really bad shape right now. We have no starting #2 CB, FS or SS. Even if Miami brings back Bell, Gooman & Hill they will all be older than 30. We do not have any talent waiting to takeover for them.

This draft should have at least 1 corner maybe 2. Then 1 FS/SS type player.

They seem to double down on picks with positions. It worked well last year and I think the trend will continue this year. If there is no LB with enough value for the #25 pick. I think they go CB with the 1st round pick. I would not be surprised if they used 1 of the next 3 picks again for a CB.

Miami could rebuild the secondary very quickly for the future with this draft.

Here's to hoping Miami can create yet another tandem like the caliber of Sam Madison & Patrick Surtain. :knucks:

Bud Foster said that B. Flowers would be overlooked by a lot of teams b/c of a 40ty time. He just laughed b/c he knew that the guy can cover and hover all around the ball. He did not have track speed, he has game speed.

While I am a homer for wanting a 4.2 - 4.3 speed guy. It does not mean much once the pads are on, unless you got the talent to back it up.

Victor Macho Harris will not have a great 40ty time. But his game speed time will impress, just watch him CLOSE in from 3-7 yards on a ball past 10 yards. If he can go for the pick...he will 10 out of 10 times. That has to change...

But if he knows the pick is not the option, you better bite down on your mouth piece (if you are the WR) b/c he will lay the wood and then help you up just to do it again the next play.
