In a 110-108 game, court's smaller and you do have a great opportunity to score again. In a 1-0 game, you can frenetically push but odds are not good to get anywhere. Usually pace of the game is ludicrously slow with all the cards and out of bounds delays. I'm actually a hockey fan as well and those scores don't get much higher but the pace to me is quicker because it's a smaller field of play and people move faster. And fights....

 

Right lets start from the beginning. I said B/ball was crap, and have no idea why I am defending football, or soccer as you call it. But I would agree. At the moment soccer is trash. But so is B/ball, and why Sick is even joining this argument is beyond me. He agreed that B ball was crap yesterday

 

At least when you watch basketball there is not a guy lying on the floor crying because he got tripped like soccer.

Why do you think there are so many fights in the crowd, because the footy is crap. To me B Ball should either be played on a bigger court or just play 10 minutes and have a 20 -18 winner. Why do you even bother to watch the first 3 quarters.

American footy. I have seen absolutely brilliant 16 13 games. In soccer terms that equates to a 1-1 draw with one team getting more corners

 

Why is bball crap? Because things actully happen.

They tried that in the 50's. It did work very well when the Pistons won 19-18.

I always thought there were fights because they were morons or in the Simpsons case, bored and drunk out of their minds. Or both.

To have a relationship, you cannot always be giving, else you become a sugar daddy. It's good you want to make her feel good but there are other and cheaper ways to do so.

lol, well, I never really got to that point yet but to sum it up, I like the back and forth when it yields results. Not back and forth to be kicked out of bounds or have a card thrown up by stupid ref, which stops play. Not to mention dunks, blocks, sweet 3's happen a lot more than goals.
