Well it is the link, I backdoored into the chat room by going to your homepage. The same thing happens for me, I click on that link and it brings me right back to the JTT2 thread.

dont worry kevin, ive had the same thing happen to me like 50 times. something about that link is effed up.

i found that if i click it, it opens the same thread in another window. but if i click it again without closing the newly opened window, it will open the correct link in a new window. i find this to be very strange. computers are supposed to perform the same function every time. i believe it is a problem within firefox.

I gotta tell you guys this, and all of it is true.

I have recently got a new g/f who I am really happy with. She is a little younger in age, but intelligent and a class A1 chick. She is a teacher and when i met her today I found out she is married to an ex RAF fighter pilot She says she never ever decieved me at any point, saying that she still really likes me and wants to continue the relationship, and that she hasn't at any point had a relationship with her husband for nearly two years now (estranged husband). The problem is that now he knows I am on the scene he is being a real prat. He doesn't want her back, but doesn't want her to have anyone else. So what do i do now?

Seriously i have a good idea what i will do, just wondered what you guys think i should do?

It isn't morally wrong in my eyes to post here as i have already told her i would (which she found quite funny, and is looking forward to the replies) In fact one day if we are still together in the future, then i intend to let her loose here anyhows

 

Divorce out of the question? Seems simple that way.

 

she should get a divorce IMO, before pursuing anything further with you, as asking you to go through that with her estranged or not is not very fair.............

Yeah we discussed divorce, and that is ok by her, but it takes so frigging long. You forget we live in the UK and ladies like it to be done right. She also isn't the girl next door either. i have had to search long and hard to find this woman, and have to travel to see her. This is a lady i would be willing to spend the rest of my life with, and not just a one night stand. She is already kind of special. We have a lot in common, and I really dont want to f*** it up, but if He doesn't sort himself out and let her go, then it wouldn't take a lot for me to go down there (with enforcer ) and sort him out.

Well actually you are closest to what i told her. I thought maybe that there was a teensy bit of her that wanted to stay with him, but she says not, and her future is with me. After our meeting today, I would be hard presssed to argue with her but it is still a worry. And she is so gullible for a clever person, it wouldn't surprise me either.

Honestly I would have an issue about her not being out front and clear about being married. If the actual details are ok with you then follow your heart brother. My last ex was married when I met her but I refused to set up house until she wasn't. It was a good run, I still love her. My mistake was not realizing early enough that she wanted to be "kept". Had my income allowed it, she would have had her way, but things are what they are.

I love ya to bits man and thx for the advice. She did tell me she was married, but for two years they haven't had a relationship. No sex, no romance whatever. But since I have been on the scene, and she has been kind of discreet about it, it has all blown up. She could be using me to rekindle her old flame and husband, but I dont get those vibes.


I see her as someone who genuinely wants out with me, but just cant escape due to him putting pressure on her with family duties etc.

I tell you , I am ready to go and knock his lights out, and dont think i cant, because i can. i just don't want to do it that way, but he is being a real dick head right now.

I'd look up the current divorce law. I'm sure there's some statute for unilateral divorce in the UK.

Not really, I'm more pre-med, though thinking of law if I don't get into med school. There are posters here who are actually lawyers so you could ask them for advice though it'd probably be better to just call up a local UK lawyer since they'd be more familiar. I'm just familiar with divorce in general and a few undergrad law courses.

Unilateral would mean only one side files and doesn't require the other to sign off on it. There are conditions though but it seems like your situation may fit.

i have a nephew that deals with law, and never thought of asking him. Trouble is keeping it quiet.
