    Per Rotoworld:

Free agent T.J. Houshmandzadeh says he'd be interested in playing for the Eagles next season.
"If they'll be interested in me, I'll be interested in them," he said. "McNabb is a fine quarterback. He was going to playoff games consistently with Todd Pinkston and Freddie Mitchell (at receiver)." It's worth noting that Housh rang up 149 yards and a TD on 12 grabs in last season's Bengals-Eagles tie. Feb. 5 - 11:08 am et

Impending free agent T.J. Houshmandzadeh said he hasn't heard from the Bengals, "which would lead me to assume that I'm out there."
Housh believes the Bengals can still win, "but a lot of changes have to occur." Though the team would prefer not to franchise him at $9.88 million, it may be the only way to keep the hot commodity in stripes. Once he makes it to free agency, Housh is sure to receive an offer more attractive than staying with a dysfunctional franchise. Feb. 5 - 7:09 pm et

According to the Arizona Republic's Dan Bickley, Edgerrin James is "already gone" from the Cardinals.
Edge reportedly did not return to Phoenix with the Cardinals after the Super Bowl. James' release, which cannot become official yet, will save Arizona $5 million under the salary cap, increasing the team's spending limit to roughly $47 million. It also creates a need at tailback. J.J. Arrington is a free agent and the Cardinals will have to find a complement for Timmy Hightower. Feb. 5 - 12:21 pm et

Both are interesting developements. I know the Eagles dont usually spend big dollars on FA's but these two could get them over the top. they need a short yardage back and if Edge would take that role he would do well for that team; and they need a #1 wr bad and Housh would fill that role nicely. Houshmanzadeh has already expressed an interest in playing in Philly as per the 2nd tidbit listed....of course whether philly is actually interested in either of these guys has yet to be seen. I doubt we will be players for either.

they were saying on NFL live that houshmanzillas family lives out west so he would be more likely to play for SF or SEA then PHI.

I know what the tid bit says and all...

I expect them to go after Anquan Boldin via trade first and then possibly pursue T.J. Houshmanzadeh.

They also tried to get Anquan Boldin after Fitzgerald settled on a deal in Arizona.

i could care less where tj whosyourmama goes to....i dont wanna him teachin our youngsters the ropes. I think hes highly overrated and has been living off of chad johnson his whole career. Hes a solid player nothing more.

I would take amani toomer in a second over him. All we need is a wily old vet that does'nt want the spotlight anymore, willing to be the 5th. Otherwise we go young next year and let these kids grow up fast and together. i like how our receiving core kept ascending through the year.

Word is that, Edge actually bought a new car, and parked it out front of the team hotel. He didn't make the return trip back to PHX for the runner-up rally with the rest of the team, instead, he drove off in his new car. As for why, I have heard a few things.

Edge will catch on somewhere and rush for 1,200+ in 2009. Maybe Cincinnati.
