Great game last night, I dont know who I would rather have more on the Fins, Boldin or Dansby?

I feel bad for the Cardinals, maybe its because this wonderful team of ours is also in quite the drought.

My lab sheds alot.

1) the Office was awesome

2) Its just a bunch of puppies playing.

 

I give those athletes on that show all the respect and props.....they are awesome.

great game last night.....if someone told me the steelers D would give up 400+ yards and won i wouldve laughed in their face......great drive at the end for big ben....guy has 2 SBs in 5 years....thats incredible!

 

Yeh all the stat guys a re going nuts saying how terrible he is. IDK, I'd take a terrible qb that had 2 rings...

 

He isn't that great stat wise, Jesus, his first SB was won despite his poor play, but he's part of a team that knows how to win, and he does enough to get the job done.

 

I thought about joining that but wasn't sure how much time was needed to devote to it, and if I could make that kind of committment.

 

You gay guys and your commitment issues......

 

Yeah gotta give Ben his props. If you had to win one game, most people would still take Brady, but I am sure Ben would be the 2nd or 3rd choice (Manning might be 2nd)

But I still think about him everyday, and tear up at certain moments when I am doing things we did together, or listening to music we used to listen to together. One day you will too meet the love of your life, and understand fully what that commitment means.

 

He already did, but things didn't work out too nice. His hand fell asleep.

 

big ben made my eyes pop out of my skull at least 5 times last night. I swear he wasnt even looking downfield a couple times, then he just stops, does a 180 spin, and heaves it to a receiver who is just standing there waiting to save the day.

EDIT: kinda like in madden, when you throw to someone who isnt even on the screen.

 

Instead of won, dont you mean "handed to him by the refs?"

 

Meh, I hate that sentiment, no matter what team or what game. I don't go down that path.

 

I'm sorry. That has to be one of the hardest things; to find your soulmate and have him taken from you like that.

My parents were so upset when my brother came out; but the richest irony is that of the three children, he is the one in the longest happy, committed relationship - 13+ years.

My sis and I are both relationship disasters waiting to happen.

 

To me the funniest was the Doritos/crystal ball commercial; it made me guffaw.

The best was the Coca-Cola "heist" commercial, though - as always.

That one made me lol too.

 

I needed that laugh Opfie.....its not been a good one so far for me. Lots of yelling and screaming involved.....and high blood pressure for me

 

Gi§h, i quite agree. Big Ben, for a big lumbering looking guy, is surprisingly nimble.

 

Nabo it was a very difficult time for me, since it came out of absolutely nowhere. He was a physical fitness nut....everyday was 5 miles running. No smoking, no drugs, no alcohol, green "rabbit food" type diet. But you can't ignore family history, and both of his parents had died of fatal heart-attacks before age 60, and several grandparents did the same. He worked in a very high-pressure, corporate setting, and was under constant stress by his bosses to deliver more and more everyday. It all just caught up with him.

People, listen to me, slow down, and don't fall under the spell of the almighty $. Its not always better to have more and more money, if you are not healthy and happy doing what you have to do, to get it.

Ben Roethlisberger doesn't put up the prettiest statistics but he knows how to win. I'll take that over statistics anyday.

I agree.....the game is about winning. We learned that from the Marino years.

 

I kind of downgrade that Doritos commercial and here is why. It didn't strike me as very original. Southwest airlines had a commerciall not too long ago about two guys playing video games and how their movements made the guy on the game move. They are playing a baseball game and the one guy pretends to throw a pitch, and chucks his controller right through the screen.

It seemed too much like that ad to score highly with me. Just my opinion.
