im getting so pissed at my adobe audition....its not ****ing recording stuff i play on my computer like normal.....i should be able to play a youtube video and record the sound from it, on audition....and cut it and make bites out of it.....something to do with me plugging in my headset last week has messed up the sound input/output and now its not reading and it is completley pissing me off, because i could rock out a sick opening for my show tomrrow....and have sound bites as well.......**** me sideways!

god bro...audacity is terrible....i deleted it cause of viruses...and cheapness....believe me....nothing touches audition....(aka cool edit pro) only thing close i used at WQAM is sony sound forge

 

its not audition....its my ****ty laptop....something got fudged with my inputs....i dunno how to fix it

 

I'm not entirely sure but maybe when you used the headset, it switched to a mic as input device and it needs to be switched back to Wave input? I dunno, haven't used Adobe Audition too much. Definitely sounds like a source issue. I've had that issue when recording when the input was for the microphone and you want an internal input source.

ahhh i got it working, and i am currently uploading some cool bits to use during the shows this weekend....im pumped! i may have a show sunday morning for the superbowl....who knows? but i will most likely be smashed tomrrow night!!!! so yay! this will be a blast!
