Broadcast has begun. I love this game. I've always held more of an affinity for this game than even the Senior Bowl. In the intro they're talking about QB Stephen McGee a lot. Personally? I'm not interested in ANY of the quarterbacks here...although I will have one eye open for McGee. All I know is Brian Hoyer was the most impressive of the QBs in practice, and that tells me really all I need to know. Brian Hoyer is terrible. Truly terrible. The college version of Joey Harrington, which means he's significantly worse than Harrington. This should be fun...because I won't be paying attention to the QBs at all.

Gartrell Johnson lacking that second gear. Running a 4.7. Ouch. That's the reason he was primarily a FB who got the RB spot after an injury I believe.
what's the deal with their helmets? they've got 20 different logos. is this sort of an all star game or something?
Yeah Myron has looked good, big ole bubble butt. I noticed him when he played USF last year. But really, that three-play series was all Daryl Richard. He took on the doubles and held his own extremely well. Myron was singled and was free to make the plays because Richard was such a load to handle on doubles in the middle.
So far Vollmer is playing very well on the right side of the line. He needs to grab his man better and keep his hands attached to the defenders jersey. Otherwise he's shown some decent feet and mobility.
I always liked Sutton at Northwestern. Not going to be a great pro, but I thought he was a nice player.
You know what, I don't want to penalize Palmer for that too much. GREAT instincts on that slant. I like that they didn't penalize him.
Good hustle by Javarris Williams the RB as a flyer on STs. He slipped when he got down there but he played like he wanted it and he caught Stroughter on the back side.
LOL. There's no such thing as a second-read slant route. By definition, you lock onto a slant route at the very start of the play. There is literally no other way to play it.
Bronson terrible block on Sulak, Stryker makes the play in the backfield. Pryor stood out in his single matchup on that play.
