Williams will be one of the participants in the upcoming season of Pros vs. Joes on Spike TV, FOXSports.com has learned. The 10-episode show pits boisterous sports fans against retired stars in athletic competitions. The winning fan receives what Spike is touting as a "six-figure cash prize." Williams became the first active player to participate in the series. Dressed in a blue-and-white uniform, Williams runs through a cone-marked lane while "Joes" try to tackle him before he reaches the end zone. One participant named Ray was steamrolled after meeting Williams head-on. A smile was visible under the running back's helmet as the "Joe" struggled to his feet and on-lookers laughed. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7654704
Kinda like the way a smile was visible under Harrison's helmet as Ricky struggled to get to his feet and the steelers on-lookers laughed after Harrison ended his season... ouch
"The 10-episode show pits boisterous sports fans against retired stars in athletic competitions." So does that mean that Ricky has retired?
It was fimed in Oct a week or so before he was reinstated and it says he is the first non retired player to be on the show.
No it doesn't. I know it's been answered but if you read a little more below what you quoted: "Williams became the first active player to participate in the series." Hey dude gotta get paid. Even when Ricky is skinny man no regular dude is going to stop him. He looked buff as hell in that Pitts game.
He screwed the Dolphins big time. Also, he's way past his prime. No reason to bring him in. He's a wash, it's over with his career. Emmitt Smith in Arizona > Ricky Williams.
