Ferentz gets paid plenty.. I believe his salary is 3.2 million per year and in the top 10 in the FBS.

A girl I graduated from high school, her sister married Ferentz's son and she has told me that Ferentz won't leave, if he does at all, until his youngest child (who is 14 or 15) graduates from high school in Iowa.

I doubt Ferentz leaves, but I still worry that he might...

 

We have dedicated far too many posts to Iowa/Ferentz at this point. Please move on to other subjects.

 

so i dont care if i sound like a douche....or arrogant...but im being completley friggin honest right now...my head coach in highschool sucked....dude got fired after my senior season because he was STEALING outve kids lockers in gym...

the dude gets fired, they go through his desk...and there is letters and recordings on his answering machine from colleges about me and my friends he never gave us...and all of them had moved on and signed other people by time i found them....schools for example

troy state wanted me to visit, west virginia, syracuse, southern illinois and illinois (ron zook was looking at me while he was at UF)....

they all wanted me to visit, or offered me atleast a 1/2 scholarship 1/2 federal grants (so i wouldnt have to pay a thing for school)

anyways....i had to settle for a scholarship to D2 Wingate university in NC....i got injured...left yatta yatta....


anyways....i couldve went to a big school....(bigger than wingate lol)

and now i hear about this kid from wellington (where im from) playing for my ex-rival school palm beach central....jon bostic....hes one of the top LB recruits in the country....kid has miami, fsu, florida, lsu, ohio state to choose from.....

well i look at his highlight tape....and honestly...the kid brings the wood...he hits hard....but my highlight tape is better lmao.....and im not being egotistical i swear to god....i have my highlight tape on dvd....i dunno how to rip it onto the computer so i can load it on youtube...but if someone wants to tell me....ill do it and let everyone else be the judge....


anyways....it just really makes me disgusted that i was not even looked at.....well i was....but i didnt know it.....cause i had such a **** munching coach....

anyways i had to vent....im only 21....i should get in sick shape and play some more semi pro or try to walk on somewhere up here (wake, clemson, ecu) or something....its not to late....im still young....i just gotta get motivated.....anyways...just had to vent....sorry....

my freshman year they had a girl kicker.....omg we knocked her ovaries through her *** the opening kickoff....i think we got a 2 yard return...cause no one blocked everyone tried to take out that chick....the guys that hit her went high and low on her....flipped her on the sideline....it was NUTS (pun intended ) her pony tail hanging outve her helmet was a disgrace

 

Chris that sucks man. I wonder if that has any legal recourse to it? The guy prevented you from getting a potential education at a prestigous school. It sounds damn near criminal to me.

And semi-pro ball, if you want to play, can be fun. A good friend of mine owns a team out here and plays QB for them. He seems to enjoy it.

 

well my friends have it worse....seriously....this is no exageration....

my one friend rob....was funny, doing good in school, but coach had a weird vendetta against him and the kid never played.....he literally outve spite....put a FRESHMAN they just brought up from JV into the Defensive Tackle position in the 4th quater of our last ever highschool game....he didnt let rob TOUCH the field....he wasnt gunna play college....he will never play football again....ill never forget him crying when the scoreboard said "0:00"

he sat in the locker room for an hour after the game...he didnt wanna take off the pads....he wouldnt put them on ever again....this coach is a complete *******....anyways....rob is in jail now, selling drugs....grew a beard, got beat by cops, almost died from an overdose....and we've only been outve HS for 3 years....and i seriously blame the coach....im not kidding...he dropped off the deep end after football season....i didnt recognize him afterwards....its pathetic...


another friend like me, aaron.....could COMPLETLEY play college ball...6'4 240 tightend.....glue for hands....great shape....great work ethic....well he was like me...had letters and offers from colleges hidden in coaches desk....never saw them.....and had already listed in the marines....kid should be in college...instead he is in iraq as i type this....and once again...i 100% blame that ****ing coach....i hate that man with a deep burning passion....he literally ruined kids lives....its sickening.....

Wow, I don't think it makes you sound like a douche. Makes your coach sound like one. Even more than the guy who replaced our school's head coach when I was a freshman. Total ******* and his son, also on the team, didn't fall far from the tree.

my mr. beer "canadian draft" is fermenting now.....i mixed it today....i santisized the **** out of everything that came near the beer....the beer mix smelled like sweet potatoes....i hope this **** is good....ill be waiting like a month till i drink it....so i hope it has good flavor

If you have a DVD player on your comp. All you have to do is open Youtube and upload it from there, or you can save the DVD to your computer first if its too long you will have to break it up.

like I said if the mr. beer ****s up don't blame it on the brewing process. I'm here to tell you I'm not the most kitchen savvy person in the world (and my dad is a chef) but I can brew some beer.

Just keep at it and if there's anything I can help direct you towards let me know

by the way, the saying "patience is a virtue" is of utmost importance when brewing beer.

I used to play WR but I had to stop playing because of some family issues and what not. I've been thinking about getting back into it all somehow too.

That reminds me of what happened to our coach. Didn't start Martinez, who was a senior, at RB (well, considering it was for soph Chauncey Washington, a no-brainer). Got paranoid in the locker room that the coach had a vendetta against him. End up, last game, Martinez's relatives took it out on the coach and we ended up on the evening news clumped with other stories of parent rage. Of course, our coach was fired the next year when he punched a PE kid who was calling him out for peeking into the girl's locker room (there's a hole along the left wall). And he was actually a lot better than the ******* coach who replaced him and who was the reason a lot of people quit the team, including me.

I've brewed only twice. Both times I have found that my beer (successful brewing attempts) have become better with age.

So just wait a bit more and don't get discouraged.

 

There are semi-pro teams all over the country bro. See if you can find a league in NC and get into shape. If you still have eligibility left get yourself at a D2 or D1aa school and hound the AD and Head Coach.
