Week 16 Dolphins at Chiefs Official game thread

No one seems to be giving the Chiefs a chance.
Lets hope the coaches will keep the players focused.

 

Chiefs colors...

 

They do have a chance. They haven't been playing bad football the past several weeks. We HAVE to run today. They are horrible against the run and if we control time of possession in this weather, it gives us a huge edge.

 

That is so Thigpen throws it our way....

 

I didn't do a Manifesto this week, but a couple of things to keep in mind. Thigpen has played well in his previous two games against the AFC East (he didn't play against New England)throwing for over 500 yards 5 tds and 2 int.

Also, Kansas City is towards the top of the league in turnovers at +8. With the cold weather thrown in, our guys need to make sure to hold onto the ball.

Some good news, I think the Chiefs only have nine sacks on the year. That means that we may need to only have the line blocking for most of the day, which means our tight ends options and running backs catching passes out of the backfield is very viable.

Dwayne Bowe and the 59 year old Tony Gonzo have had good seasons and need to be taken away from Thigpen.

 

Sonofabitch my DTV is acting up because of the damn snow. I'm gonna be pissed if I can't watch the game.

 

Brown...that sucks. I can give you play by play if you want. That is, until the beer kicks in...

 

Man o man...the coldest game in Dolphins history...one more bridge to cross, one more road to take for our guys, if we make the playoffs, we will have earned it.

I'm glad we must win to make the playoffs, for so many years we were reduced to "hope" and trying to back into the Big Dance, this year...nope..we have to do it for ourselves, there is no "Plan B" way.

 

I am so afraid of this game. Very afraid.

The defense has given up 8 points a game over the last month. Incredible.

And I know how well Penningotn has done but it still boggles my mind with some of his stats. 6 ints on the season, 95.1 QB rating. Just a fantastic season that should have gotten him into the Pro Bowl.

 

Ronnie needs 25-30 carries today.
