Okay, last week it was at one time around -15 at my house in Northern NJ. Today I'm in shorts and a T-shirt taking down the outside Christmas decorations and its 72 degrees! This is killing my skiing time! I guess i need to start riding my Mountain Bike sooner than I thought.
We had about 3-4 inches of snow last night....I am sure they got a foot or two in Vail or Crested Butte.....even I-70 was shut down for a while. It was over 60 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. Usually the highs are around 35 this time of year in Colorado.
Weird. We actually had a good amount of snow here a couple of weeks ago. Well not a good amount in your guys terms, but a good amount for an area that usually stays above 50 degrees in the winter.
Its 60 here in Indiana right now, but we have a storm front coming through that is going to push it back down to the 40s. Such a major weather change results in nasty weather here.
Yeah it reached 70 here in Louisville yesterday. Its currently 65 degrees on January 8. Its usually low 40's this time of year. Weird weather.
It has to be close to 60 today, I hate it. How am I supposed to go snowboarding when it isn't snowing, and it isn't even cold enough for them to make snow. Hell, I bet they can't even retain the snow they had from previous weeks with how warm it is.
I was skiing at Gore a week ago, 72 trails were open along with all the glades. Today they have 36 open.
The best part is it was in the 60's again today, my buddy who just went to the Middle East yesterday called and said it was snowing. Very starnge
OK, but at least ya didnt have to put swimmy balloons on the horses and "float" them to dry land out here in Cali.. lol xoxo ;-)
its supposed to snow I think this weekend here maybe. Who knows with Indiana though, it could change tomorrow.
Its a La Nina year, which means it should be warmer than usual with occational coldsnaps. If you dont like the cold, enjoy it I guess.
