we're never gonna finish this league. we should just start a new one with 2 games. gotta leave room for redemption. NEW LEAGUE name: THE PHINS BEATDOWN password: gish I'll invite Clark Kent, UM all day, enforcer, and aboome. Anyone else who wants in can join whenever they feel like it. But if you dont play your games, you will be removed at the end of the season in order to proceed to the playoffs. Ground rules: no rocket catch no qb kneel, then audible no DC glitches no FB dive more than once per set of downs, unless inside 5 yard line. basically, if you know its unfair, dont do it. Let the games begin.
What is a rocket catch? What is a DC glitch? And why not allow for a simple FB dive? What is wrong with that?
A rocket catch is a glitch in the game where you can throw it deep almost every time and if you take control of the receiver at the right time he will catch it every single time. There is a DC (Disconnect) glitch where if you run offsides towards the end of the game the comp. boots you off the game and some have made it work to where it doesn't count against them. The FB dive is NOT a glitch. And while I do not agree with banning it, I do see where it makes the games boring. It can be stopped, its just almost impossible.

I like the idea of having a draft while i was setting up my ranking i was getting all excited and ish. when will the draft be held?
I am so friggin tired of kids half my age stomping me on this game! I know every aspect of the game of football and I am doing the same things they are doing but it works for them and not for me! This kid probably...maybe 15, was talking ish to me on his headset, as he's beating me 29-0! Dude seriously I promise you he wouldn't be talking to me like that in front of me. Excuse the crap out of me if I HAVE a life and dont play this game 24-7 like most of these kids! 9 losses in a row not even close most of them!! Pissing me off!
It's a fantasy draft, so it won't matter. I picked Miami to get warm weather games. I'm sick of snow. I've been in your shoes En. I even stopped playing for awhile. My only advice is to try new ****. Even though I'm really a slightly above average player I'm getting better.
Scratch that, I'm garbage... I lost 10-7 earlier today. This kid couldn't pass for ****. I user picked him all day. He could run like crazy though. He had 25+ carries with AP for like 125 yards. He even had a 7 min drive in the 3rd/4th. I had a chance to score before half after a fumble, but Chad fumbled on the 2. I don't know what to do anymore on offense. Nothing I'm doing is working anymore. He ran C3 all game (blitzing a CB) and I couldn't get anything done, no matter what I called. In the 4th with about a min left I ran my favorite play (streaks + Playmaker) had Ginn wide open and Chad under throws him... I lose the game. Anyone have any info on money plays for offense? I'm this close to buying a madden account from the Madden Lab. It's 24.99. Maybe a few of us could share an account and split? I know I'm buying next year for sure, but since I've been playing Madden like crazy (plus I've got a month off with nothing to do) I might get it.
FB Dive is not banned. Its just being limited. If you need to run a FB dive more than once per set of downs, then you are just being a dick. Get a new first down, and you can use it again. Also, you can use it as much as you want from inside the 5 yard line on either end of the field. The draft will be after everyone has their rankings set. P.S. Hostile, I blame you for my voice loss. I cant talk today. All that comes out when I try to speak is strange grunting and weezing sounds. You will pay!!!!
Did you buy the red colored numbing ****? Dude, after todays debacle (10-7) loss I think I figured something cool for bombs. I think its what UM does. i didnt see any red throat numbing spray. i got some Halls Mentho-Lyptus cough drops and some day quil. I also got some soup. I feel better, but I still have trouble talking without sounding like a dying penguin.
i just won a game where i had the ball for a total of 3:47. I didnt have one 3rd down attempt the entire game. This guy was breaking away from sacks with Peyton Manning and running for first downs. Call me crazy, but when someone is running playaction and I blitz off the edge, the QB is supposed to be eating turf if I make contact. I was up 14-0, this guy scores before and after halftime, milking the clock the entire time, 14-14, then he kicks an onside kick in the 3rd quarter and gets it. I stop him and score on the next play on a bomb to Owens because he is using cover 2 like a dumb****. So he gets the ball back and starts milking the clock again. He drives all the way down to the 2 and then kneels the ball until 3rd down to make sure hes the last one with the ball. He throws a TD, and then goes for 2 and breaks away from what must have been his 7th broken sack. He guns it into coverage and i broke it up. I win. His defense was so horrible that I couldnt hold onto the ball for more than a minute per drive. He had 17 first downs!!!! 17!!!!! Playaction freezes the zone and gave him wide open crossing routes everytime. It didnt matter if I got to the QB, he broke away from the sack all but twice. It was driving me insane!!
Some guy broke a **** load of sacks against me with Warner (he didn't run though, just threw deep to Fitz every time). I always thought it was random, but maybe not.
Hostile. Nothing we have done on offense so far even comes close to touching the stuff you can do with my new playbook. My new offense makes rocket catching look like a waste of time. No more curls, drags, and dumpoffs. New system, excellent production. I will show you in lab. You wont be able to stop it, and I might make you beg to know what the **** is going on. I just completely clowned 2 peeps using it. One of them had over 300 games played, and couldnt stop it even one play. He was up 7-0, and quit down 35-7. You can get 400 passing yards every game using this, even if you dont have the ball very long.
Custom playbooks? Online use??? I cant even use a custom playbook in Franchise mode, how can you use one Online???
