I did not see this posted anywhere... Ronnie Brown Joey Porter Grats to you guys! I think Jake Long should have made it but oh well. 2009 Pro Bowl rosters
Jake Long got screwed. How does Joe Thomas and Jason Peters both get in ahead of him? Neither have played well this season.
Joe Thomas had an excellent year apart from yesterday's game. He deserves to be in there together with Michael Roos. How Peters made it in there is indeed a good question. And Favre is a joke.
Sorry, I posted a thread too! Jason Peters making it as a starter is a joke. Not only did Porter own him, but he was owned last week against the Jets--and was the person who gave up the sack that caused the fumble. He's been awful. Jake Long has had a much better year than he has.
Anyone who's looked at pro bowl rosters for any period of time knows that these things always have people who are included based upon their past reputation rather than their current level of play. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.
The rest of the NFL hates the Dolphins, and is jealous over the resurgence. I'm surprised we got any one in.
Do you really think that??? Their are 31 one other teams.............That fans of them could make a case that the rest of the nfl hates them as well, even the pats fans.
Cant believe Jake didnt get in. I expected him to get in and not Ronnie. And too bad Carpenter didnt make it, but that's not really that big of a surprise. The amount of undeserving Jets is just unbelievable
They missed badly on the AFC QBs. This isn't MVP voting, so the fact that you're on a bad team shouldn't disqualify you. Where is Phillip Rivers? Or Pennington for that matter? Those two should have been tops in the AFC.
Jake Long not getting in and Brett Favre making it are my biggest issues. Now, besides those i think the teams were picked VERY well this year. But those two issues are big ones. Favre in no way shape or form deserves to be in and niether does Jason Peters over Jake Long.
Brett Favre has been average at the very best this year. What a joke. Phillip Rivers receiving the snub of the century.
Jake Long - 14 Starts - 5 Penalties for 40 yards - 2.5 sacks allowed for 15.5 yards washingtonpost.com Joe Thomas - 14 Starts - 6 Penalties for 35 yards - 2.5 sacks allowed for 11.5 yards washingtonpost.com Jason Peters - 13 Starts - 8 Penalties for 55 yards - 11.5 sacks allowed for 106.5 yards washingtonpost.com Yeah so how does Jason Peters make it?
throw me in the list of people that cant believe peters got in over long/clady.i would of had it roos, long and clady with joe thomas barley not getting in. oh well he will have many pro bowl selections when his time is done(that goes for ryan clady also)
Exactly, I am disappointed Chad Pennington didn't make it, is he not the 3rd rated QB? It comes down to a popularity contest. I am not so sure Ronnie Brown should have gotten it, but I' take it. d-1
No, that would be Jon Abraham and his 15.5 sacks not getting in. Oh, and Chad should be in instead of favre
