I must say I am very impressed with how well your Dolphins are playing this season. I can honestly say and i'm sure most people would agree with me that the phins were not supposed to be this good this fast. I love your style of play with your new leader on offense in C.Pennington. I hope it's a good injury free game and may the best team win. I know our record does not say allot about our team but since Singletary took over this team we are making strides in the right direction. S.Hill has made great decisions to this point and he should have a good game against you guys this week. The Dolphins are averaging 20.7 points a game on offense and are allowing 20.0 points a game on defense, I see this being a close contest. The Dolphins have no problem moving the ball averaging 350.7 yards per game while our defense is allowing an average 335.2 so we have a big task this Sunday containing the Dolphins high powered offense. Although we only allow 104.4 rushing yards per game the Dolphins average 115.8 on the ground. Our LB corp is going to have to play at it's best to stop the double headed monster in Williams and Brown. The dolphins also have a very good passing attack averaging 234.9 yards through the air while our 49ers secondary is giving up 211.2. We need to get pressure on Pennington if we want to stop this passing attack and give our secondary some help. I think this game will boil down to who can protect the QB and win the turnover battle. My prediction for this game is 28-24 49ers
I think we have a highly efficient offense but I wouldn't call us high powered. It's great that you do though (welcome, btw, which board are you from?)
Welcome to thephins.com. Two biggest keys in this game will be time of possession and turnovers. Miami having two pro bowl caliber running backs can dominate the time of possession especially if Gore is going to be out on Sunday. At this point even knowing he's gimpy I have to go time of possession edge to Miami. And the two teams are on opposite sides of the turnover battle. Miami is at +10 and the niners are at -12 Sack stats aren't that far off Miami has 32, San Fran 25 I love what Singletary is doing in San Francisco he is by far one of my favorite all time NFL players and I would enjoy seeing him become the full time coach in S.F. That being said I do feel Miami is the stronger of the two teams. Miami 28-17
I like your 2 headed RB system that you have in Miami, I wish we had a better backup than Foster. Although he has only had limited snaps this season I have not been very impressed with what I have seen to this point. If we fail to get adequate pressure on him he may be able to pick apart our secondary (who have been playing better of late but are still iffy at times).however, our defense hasn't given up a TD in 2 straight games so hopefully they can keep up the good work this week. good luck, and take a look around our site. we have plenty of great non-football related topics and threads that we could all probably tolerate you a little more commenting on

Nice job on your analysis. I enjoy the good natured banter from the fans our team is about to play, or in this case, destroy. Win or lose, just make sure you come back after the game and I wish both teams good health.
The turnover ratio is deceiving because when JTO or just turnover was our starting QB he was responsible for most of our T.O. If Gore is even 75% healthy I would expect him to play and put up his numbers like he usually does. If he does not play then you guys obviously will a better chance at controlling the time of possesion. Last week when we played the Brett's we dominated them in that aspect of the game even though Gore left earlie in the 3rd quarter. Our red zone defense has been playing great over the last two games and I am expecting that to continue this week. I know that when you guys get in the red zone you have settled for FG more than 1 would like. We have not produced very many sacks this season but one thing we do well is get pressure on the QB. Hopefully we can do this against Pennington and stop him form being so D A M N accurate.

I could say the same thing. Offensively We are about 89% scoring with 61% touchdowns against 49ers 82% and 51% TD's. Defensively The San Francisco Defense has allowed 21Td's & 16 FG's from inside the red zone Miami defense has allowed 18 TD's & 15 FG's If anything that tells me that the San Francisco offense will be the one kicking a lot of field goals (if they get into the red zone).
We did what Singletary has been pounding into our players heads since getting the position. #1) WE ARE NOT A CHARITY #2) PLAY HARD FOR 60 MINUTES We controlled the clock and made plays all day long, I think we have a chance at doing the same this week but I think the dolphins will controll the clock with the running game. Your secondary has played well but Hill will move the ball around this week in my honest opinion.
We appreciate you beating both the Bills and Jets, and we will hopefully reward you with an exciting game that ends with us winning a hard fought game where both teams looked good. It was a brutal season for both teams, but I was able to sit next to my brother (Calphin on here) and have a great day with him watching our favorite team win a football game so it is for that reason one of my favorite football games ever.
Good to have you 9er. Always good to have classy fans from other teams in here. A true statement for your team and fan-base. I also think this is going to be a very close game decided by TOP. Fortunately that is exactly what the make-up of our team dictates. Penny obviously doesnt have a strong arm, and will dink and dunk it for the most part. Our Oline has been hurt very badly, but continues to carry on with make-shift components, and we still have one of the best Tackle combinations you will see. Ronnie and Ricky can command the running game pretty well. To be honest, your defense does scare me some. I can see this turning into a true Field Position, opportunistic type of game. One thing that bolsters our chances is the amount of traveling your team has had to do the last month or so, that tends to start taking a toll on a team. I predict 17-13 Phins on a Dan Carpainter FG in mid-way through the fourth. We then hold and run the clock out.
Then you lose one defender that's not in there to stop Ronnie or Ricky. Pennington isn't a dainty fella either so it wouldn't be as easy as laying him out. Besides do you really want Joey Porter to tee off on Hill for retribution?
