Tebow deserves to win the Heisman, IMO.

Tebow is definitely near the top. I still like Bradford though.

I think he can do something in the pros. He can't be a run first QB in the NFL because the players are bigger, faster, and stronger. However I think that he can fit the mold of a Daunte Culpepper, except better..

I think he can be a legit starter in the NFL, just IMO though. I know there are a lot of people who will disagree and agree.

His last 2 throws; that completion to Hernandez, he was all over the place technically and it would have made Phil Neythro jealous. But the TD pass; perfect. Down low where only his man could catch it.

GIK, I have to admit I don't see any Culpepper in him at all. Daunte's release, the way he holds the ball, the arm, the mechanics, the footwork on delivery, the field vision on 2nd and 3rd reads whilst maintaining all of the above........that's not Tim's game.

But I agree with Gary Danielson that he might be the best college player of a generation certainly and perhaps in the past 40 years.

So.... Does a loss knock Bama out of the title game?

Unfortunately I missed that, went out for a smoke. Tebow deserves the Heisman again.

Yep. Florida's in. If Oklahoma beat Mizzou, they're in also. If they lose, UT is in. Bama is out.

Spikes quickness gave Smith hell on that play and forced the throw. I know the scouts and teams will see that when looking at this tape. Smith is a guy that I wouldn't be surprised if he slid a few spots.

    Spikes, you bonehead.

Spikes beasts Andre Smith to force the pick.

I guess I compared him due to size more than anything. I'm really not as knowledgeable as some of you guys though...

Yep. He roasted him. Smith actually looked quicker firing off the ball but Spikes still did him.

Florida Oklahoma or Florida Texas if Oklahoma lose to Mizzou later.

I think that Tebow will adapt and overcome. If I'm the Vikings and have Javaris Jackson and Gus Frerrotte- I take a good, long hard look at Tebow. He brings leadership, competitiveness and heady play to the game. He gets the job done and doesn't blow games like the Vikes did against the Colts. I think that he would be a good fit and a good leader for that team.

My guess is Florida/Oklahoma, pending the result of the Oklahoma/Mizzou game.

Not at all mate. It's an absolute pre-requisite to have a comparison in your mind. Makes scouting easier.

If someone is recording this game, can we get a screenshot of Saban's tears?

He's not going to run that Brad Childress offense. That's not his game.

I disagree. And a guy like Childress could pull a Shula and adapt his system to fit Tebow. It's not that I'm all about Tebow- I'm much higher on a guy like Stafford. I just think that Tebow has more to offer on the pro level than most people on this board.

Big difference between thanking Jesus and breaking out the Psalms, dude.

Saban looks like he's about to go run into the bedroom and cry into the pillow.

Childress is a WCO guy. He's a guy predicated on short passing, the occasional deep ball, timing, accuracy. That's not Tim's game.

There's a lot of QB's who get a 10th of the rep that Tebow gets who are much better pro prospects; Tony Pike at Cincy for example. Give me Pike any day over Tebow. So much work to do with #15.

Beacuse they can, misguided as it is. They think that they're doing the world some good, but it's annoying. Kind of like Bono, but he's more about hunger, third world debt, etc. The third world debt schtick gets on my nerves.

Yeah I know dude. I just find it all a bit boring. That's not being anti religious, that's just being realistic about time and place. That's like me winning the Masters and getting the green jacket and telling ABC that I owe it all to my addiction to internet porn. It's been my saviour.

    I just wouldn't do it.

Again, I disagree. Look at the timing routes and accuracy that Tebow showed tonight, especially in the TD passes. I thought that he impressed in that regard. I think that Tebow goes 2nd rd. at the latest, and again, I won't be surprised to see him go in the 1st. If the Vikes took Tavaris Jackson in the 2nd, they sure as heck can take Tebow there or higher. They need a winner and game manager at QB.

Correction. Thats not Tims college game. He can adapt to the NFL. I`m sure of it. He has enough of smarts and talent.
