right, for hitting a 'defenseless receiver'. i just don't understand it. the DB had already left his feet before the ball even got tipped. are they suppose to wait for welker to catch it and make a move before trying to dislodge the ball?
Oh I thought they would have called a personal foul for that. Hm. And I agree. That's like the "Drilling the quarterback into the ground" penalty. It's their JOB.
