Help, what is the actual rule regarding hiring a playoff team assistant coach? I have read they cant be hired till their season is over. I have read the can be hired before the season is over. ????????? some clarification please
Charlie Casserly stated today on CBS that you can not offer a job to any assistant coach while that coach's current team is still in the playoffs. I have no link. Sorry.
I would think if a coach would want out of their contract to sign somewhere else and not help their current team advance through the playoffs that coach would not be very respected.
