seems kind of funny the further they get along the more that theories einstein proposed, that were called into question, are becoming acceptable again...
well its one thing to prove it mathematically, its a whole other to have some sort of empirical data.
The most Controversial of Einstein's Theories has yet to been proven: A Clock Work Universe instead of a Random Universe.
I would say the most controversial is the theory of everything, god in the equation however you want to say it.
Depends, some are proponents of The Theory of Everything being centered on the idea of an ever expanding Universe based on the Big Bang...others see several Big Bangs and random chaos. Quantum Mechanics tries to come up with a weavable Theory of Everything but in my view, Time simply makes such a coherence impossible, mankind is forever chained to notions and realities of time and entropy...
Eistein struggled with that question in his final days and was frustrated he could not come up with a formula for a theory of everything which would rationalize the physics of the macro and quantum mechanics. I wonder if ever would have solved that had he been able to live another 50 years . Scientists since that time have struggled with it too so its doubtful. One of the interesting theories is that we live in different dimensions
Indeed, the recent studies/theories into Dark Matter are fascinating Crunch, or dark flow. The further people study, the more questions are raised...as usual...something has to keep theoritical physicists in business...if they ever came out with "Yep, we solved it" think of all the unemployed major geeks there would be just wandering around with their shoes untied...
It actually got buried somewhat till recently as it was believed to be impossible. Hmmm I haven't heard of this,it is interesting though. I have heard that they think certain forces come from different dimensions one of those being gravity.
