Don't ask Donovan McNabb. Of course it can't they'll play til doomsday. It's one and done not best out of seven, that's why I think that. For the record I don't know either it's just a guess.
I am pretty sure no is the answer to that question.. you play until someone wins.. we've been in two of the longest games ever.
Yeah dude, then both teams go on to play the next round in a bizarre three way football matchup. Change your password Sick, looks like Eric hacked your account and posted a crazy question.
I think your right that it can't happen. I've never read the rule, but it's logical that a tie can't occur. There may be a provision to finish the game on another day if for some reason there was a game stoppage. I know the game against the Chiefs, but what was the other super long playoff game? Chargers?
No a tie can't happen in the playoffs, you keep playing until somebody scores. You just changes ends of the field every 15 minutes, just like during a game.
What happens in hockey (it's the same structure, one and done) is the periods just keep going on and on and on and on. Eventually someone gets so tired that they screw up somewhere and the other team wins.
I'm almost positive it's a No becuase how could a team advance if it is a tie? So my guess, is that the game would just go into another overtime. However, I really wish the N.F.L. adopted the college football overtime rules. It would just make the game more exciting, and more even for both teams.
honestly.....(opie) this was a joke....well....it was semi-serious.... i think it needs to be like this.....1st over time....is 10 minutes.....regardless...of who scores...it can go back n fourth.....whoever leads after 10 mins is the winner..... if still tied.....then sudden death overtime....whoever scores first wins....
