....be a little more prone to take some pot-shots at us this week, to try and get us off our game ? It seems they get away with murder, and could use that to do some borderline or even excessive personal stuff that officials let them get away with. (it seems to be common knowledge they get away with loads of penalties every game)
actually I was talking about illegal stuff....extra shove when close to out of bounds, a hand to the face mask, extra shove after the whistle. Things the Pasties usually get away with.
This is exactly why I'm happy (yes, happy) that Rodney Harrison is done. He's one of the nastiest players in the history of the league, and he'd definitely be out there trying to hurt our guys on Sunday. I truly believe that.
See I am not the only one then.....I couldn't believe that others didn't see the nasty play of the Pasties as well.
the patriots are pricks with the shots, but they've lost a lot of swagger on D. They aren't as confident and won't try some of the stuff the way they used to.
Someone had a link earlier that showed the patsy fans wanting to hurt Penny when we went to the Wildcat.
Yea, they definitely lost a ton of swagger. Doesn't help to take shots when both of your lines are getting dominated and your QB is on his *** the whole game.
As much as I am not a conspiracy theorist by nature I do belief the Pats get the benefit on a lot of borderline calls because of the winning tradition and the media darlings that they are. The Pats could fall into a vat of manure and the headline would read "Heroic team tests depth of s**t hole to ensure nobody else gets harmed". Worries me is players like Wilfork in my opinion would love nothing more than to take out RB23, RW34, CP10 etc just for the sake of doing it. That nasty cow that he is. I hope Porter, Pennington, Brown & Williams turns in the games of their career this Sunday. Nothing would make me feel more joyous than a season sweep of the Pats.
i think Joey should be careful, but i do know that we are not scared of this team at all, this will be a game of Will. I dare them to pick a fight with us, we have better athletes then them so i would love for our team to get pissed off.
Not really, I don't think that any team goes out with the intention to injure another team's player. There are a few players throughout the league that are considered "dirty", Rodney Harrison is one of them, but that shouldn't reflect on the rest of the team. Injuries happen, bad plays that result in injuries happen, but it's hard for me to think that any team is going to go out there and purposely injury another player to gain an edge.
I don't think much of that is going on anymore. Buddy Ryan hasn't been a coach for many years in the NFL.LOL His son's teams players say they have a " hit list " but i think it's just kind of a joke.
I think most here know about it but here's a link East Coast Bias: Terrell Suggs is an Idiot So it does go on , but it's just kind of a joke at this point and just the new players trying to kept it old school.
I could see that happening for sure. It woudlnt be any different though from what they do every weekend anyways. I was also thinking Bellichick will probably try and run the wildcat against us to try and embarrass us with our own little "tricks" that we used to embarrass them a few weeks back. Cassell has really come into his own though the last few weeks. so it definately isnt going to be a blowout like it was last time we played when he was just getting his feet wet. If its a blowout, i dont think it'll be us doing the blowing out. I just hope they dont send moss deep, and one of our DB's get nailed with a bogus PI call again this week.... the nfl needs to change that to a 10 yard penalty, and an automatic first down similar to college instead of it being a spot foul like that. porter and the rest of the D need to have a huge game.
They have to come into Our House. They can talk all they want, but the bottom line is Cassel is getting sacked and pressured like crazy and Peezy is on NFL sack record pace. I would just make sure Cassel cannot do his up the middle rush to avoid the sack. We need to keep a LB on him like a spy. I really like our chances as they couldn't stop the Wildcat the first time, and we can do the same thing we did last time.
