Were ok guys, our defense has pitched a shutout, were givin up some catches underneath but thats to be expected, you play zone against seneca, its what you do.

Chad is stuggling in the first half, but he'll get it together.

I said in the beginning i felt ricky and teddy today.. they look great

 

Jets are beating the Rams 30-0 and getting ready to score again while Miami is struggling against the freaking Seahawks.

The Dolphins defense has not allowed any points thus far, but they'll likely need to generate a turnover or two in order to ice this game.

 

I'm disappointed they stopped running the ball. Seattle can't stop it.

 

Porter is going against Walter Jones today so anyone expecting consistent pressure from him should check that idea until next week.

The fact that we don't have a viable opposing number for Porter is allowing Seahawks to make some plays they shouldn't be making. I think the 1st round choice is becoming clearer and clearer each week.

The Jets also lost to the lowly Raiders and got waxed by a Patriots team that we beat.

It would be nice to blow the Seahawks out, but I'll take a 14-7 lead going into halftime. There's plenty of time to pull away.

 

Exactly what I just posted. Not that the Seahawks are as bad as the Rams, but I'd like to see a dominate performance this 2nd half.

 

At the half...Offensively...

Pennington 12 of 21... not what we've come to expect from him. He's not looked good under pressure. O-line needs to step up.

Williams has 97 yards on 8 carries. Brown 18 yards on 5 carries. Ricky is on fire today, he NEEDS the ball more. we need to keep running it with him.

Ginn... was huge to start this game... the kick return... then the deep pass for the TD... then he hasnt touched the ball since. that NEEDS to change.

All in all, our offense NEEDS to step it up. They were dominating the Seattle D to start this game, and now... nothing. that needs to change, or we loose this game.

At the half Defensively...

Porter, has been contained by Jones for the most part.

Run defense... has looked strong. Can't complain so far.

Pass defense... seems like theyre just standing around in their zones, waiting for things to happen. Unfortunately those things that are happening, are completions for Seattle...

Pass rush... Virtually non existant. Wallace has had too much time to throw, and he's made pretty decent use of it so far.

What to do....

We need to keep running the ball with ricky to try and open up the passing game again. I love ronnie brown, but ricky clearly has it going on today, keep feeding him. He's only going to get stronger.

Defensively, we need to get more aggressive in coverage.

Both ways... we need a big play. Something to get the momentum back. Penny's pick 6 has clearly shifted the momentum all to Seattle... that needs to change.

We cant keep letting teams that arent as good as us, stick around in games. We have to finish them off in this second half.

 

Pass rusher. or just a playmaker on defense regardless of what position.

 

When a team who is struggling and is terrible coming to the east coast is only down by a touchdown in the first half consider me disappointed.

 

Here are the halftime adjustments......

 

I want to see the defense AND offense to dominate this second half. We need to make a statement with this game going forward. This is a golden chance for the fins IMO.

 

Think about this though. Our defense has not given up any points this game. Their only score came on a pick 6.

 

Saying that you're disappointed is totally fine.

Comparing this game to some other game is faulty logic.

You can't superimpose other teams on other weeks in other scenarios.
