-Another week in the books and I am happier than a pig in dung. I’ll spin it around the league before I get to the 4-4 Miami Dolphins.

*Sean Rogers is a changed man in Cleveland. Despite the Browns blowing a huge lead, Rogers played an awesome game today. I can’t believe he was had for a 3rd Round Pick and Corey Williams cost Cleveland a 2nd Rounder

*It’s tough to run against the Ravens and Haloti Ngata is severely under the radar. This guy is dominant.

    * Derrick Mason is quietly having himself a very good season

*The Colts just don’t look the same. I am sure they are glad to have Bob Sanders back, the guy is all over the field.

*Brett Farve’s risky play has not been paying off. I know they won but come on now. It seems like every week he throws an INT for 6.

*Trent Edwards has not looked so good the past couple weeks. Maybe the Bills were overachieving. Fred Jackson is fun to watch for sure.

*The Jaguars are not a very good team
    * Kudos to the Bengals and Marvin Lewis for their 1st win

*I cannot believe the Chiefs blew that game. They are a very bad team. Herman Edwards should get a pink slip because that team sure has quit.

*Jamarcus Russell looks to be following in Alex Smith’s footsteps as a bust QB selected #1 overall.

    *Nnamdi Asomugha is awesome though

*Matt Ryan is a lock for Rookie of the Year. Chris Johnson is very good but Ryan has saved the Atlanta Franchise

*Michael Turner is one tough sob

*The Lions might not win a game. They blew that one. Poor Calvin Johnson is a stud stuck on a terrible team. They should draft Eugene Monroe #1 this year and Sam Bradford #1 the following year.

*Seneca Wallace has no right starting in this league

    • The Cowboys are nothing without Romo. Terrell Owens barely exist, the acquisition of Roy Williams means squat, and now teams are shutting down Marion Barber
    • Brandon Jacobs and Terrell Suggs are playing well so they will get paid in free agency
    • Matt Cassell is getting better for sure
    • College Football is loaded with talent. This year’s junior class might be the best ever
    • Wow Texas Tech
    • Boomer ripped me for saying this before but I will reclaim my stance that Michael Crabtree is better than Calvin Johnson and is equal to Larry Fitzgerald. His hands are amazing and his is a special player. He won’t be there when we draft anyways
    • This year’s QB class will suck if juniors such as Tebow, McCoy, Bradford, Grothe, Sanchez, or Freeman do not declare
    • Stafford and Moreno better return to GA to make good with the *** kicking they took at home vs. Florida
    • Sam Bradford is special

Now let’s talk about our Miami Dolphins. At the half way point we are 4-4 and only one game out of our division. Kudos to Bill Parcells, Jeff Ireland, and Tony Sparano b/c they have turned this ship around. Sparano has to be in serious contention for Coach of the Year.

Ted Ginn Jr. made some nice catches but did have a key drop. When the ball is in his hands, the potential of big plays is amazing. Some nice returns as well

Greg Camarillo had a hell of a game

Fasano has to make some more tough catches

Davone Bess made a sick catch

Chad Pennington is our savior right now. The guy has “it”. He is the reason we are so good right now

Another game, Another Joey Porter Sack

Ronnie Brown rushed his 8th TD

Boomer is right on with his opinion of Will Allen b/c the guy is f’n good

Andre Goodman looked like Deion Sanders wearing #21 and shutting down Brandon Marshall

Yeremiah Bell is always close to making a big play. Should have made that INT

Is it just me or does Jason Allen force a fumble or make a pick in every game he gets a chance. The kid is sick good, now we know and all of sudden maybe our drafts haven’t been so bad.

    Brandon Fields kills the ball

Dan Carpenter baby. He gets my game ball

Ricky Williams catch in the 4th was nasty!

We need to upgrade Matt Roth

I think Seattle is in serious trouble next week. I think our defense destroys their offense. Dolphins move to 5-4 with a 27-10 win.

You know I'm not sure we need to get rid of Roth immediately, but I think I have a solution. He's a beast on first down to be sure and second down stopping the run, but in pass situations we just don't use our more capable backup OLBs enough. I'm convinced that if we were to get Anderson in there at LOLB on 3rd and past 4 or so he could do some serious damage.

Sparano just touched on Roth, said his presence isn't known but felt on certain plays. He has some holes sure, but he has some strengths as well. Remember, first season as an OLB. Let some of kids develop a little. We might be surprised.

My only addition to the list:

Our special teams tackling sucks. I don't know who are special teams coach is but he should be working the drive up window at McDonalds in the near future. We continue to allow guys to return kickoffs past the 40 yard line. That's my only big gripe with yesterday's game....the rest was very nice.
