Field Goal is fine. Field Goal gets us two possesions and the ball in the second half. Great drive.

It seems odd to me our best offensive does not get the ball in that situation.

Overall that was an great drive! miami is playing great football right now! they need to keep it up

 

I do agree on some offensive plays but Denver's Defense is playing pretty well today. Having two losses in a row, and two weeks to think about and correct things helps a bunch...

 

It's a two score game. Also we did try a draw....first down and it got stuffed. They just trusted Chad to make the right decision and he did.

 

Well, so far we are boxing the Broncos ears a bit, even when we make mistakes or blow a kick off coverage, it has not breathed life into their offense.

And why are we the only team that plays on roller skates? Every game someone slips down and gives up a play.

 

I always give props when props are deserved. The defense is playing wonderfully, two scores up with the way they are playing is really good.

Remember, this drive started deep in our own area and we ate up the clock, got points and get the ball back to start the second half.

Smart football any way you look at it.

Of course, if Chad comes out and tosses a gimme to the Denver defense, all bets are off.

Cutler is obviously rattled...for the record I personally think that Elway is by far the most over-rated QB EVAR, so the comparisons are similar to me.

The Donk D is playing better than they have the last couple of weeks, but this time of posession is going to seriously diminish thier effectiveness in the 4th quarter. They dont have a ton of talent on the D to begin with, they have litterally zero depth on the D.

 

Same old story. Denver is trying to take away the run and make us one dimensional. Hopefully we continue to rip chunks out of their secondary.

Oakland has -2 first half yards, wow

 

Would like to have seen that 88-yard drive end in a TD. But I can't complain much with a 16-7 lead at Mile High and a nearly 2/1 time of possession advantage.

Phins have forced 2 turnovers, none themselves. Really one bad play the entire half by the Phins.

 

That said, I would expect the Broncos to get something going offensively. Need to generate a pass rush and score some TDs.

 

Yah, that is what I was saying earlier. Atlanta is murdering them dead.

Atlanta is much better than I thought, especially with a rookie QB.

They might be a force as early as next year to be honest.

 

Anyone else disappointed in the way Ronnie is running?

 

Expect a Brandon Marshall focus fest in the second half. He has zero catches and only been thrown too 3 times. I fully expect Denver to try to get their best player involved.

 

That has been one of the Broncos biggest problems. They focus too much on him and Cutler will force throws resulting in interceptions.

 

They're not blocking overly well up front the past few weeks.

But I've also wondered privately whether that knee is starting to wear down a bit. I remember Sparano, in mid August hen Ronnie had a few days off with the hand, talking about how it was going to be a tough 20 weeks for him once the season gets going on that knee. That it (those days in August) were going to be the best he feels all year.
