So it's Saturday night; I'm up late and I have an inclination at this time to generously pass on some information to my brothers and sisters here. So without any further delay............. Did you know? 1. The last time the Dolphins had a pair of 100 yard receivers in a game was in 2001. Oronde Gadsden had 118 yds and Chris Chambers had 101 yds. The team they scorched? Buffalo! In all it's been done 18 times in regular season games in Miami's history. 2. In 1993 when Peyton Manning couldn't make it to a Louisiana HS All Star game who filled in at QB? Patrick Surtain started for Manning! 3. Who led the Dolphins' secondary in tackles in 04?..Nope, not him....not him either..It was Sammy Knight with 127! 4. In the 2001 wildcard playoff game against Baltimore Zach Thomas made 22 tackles. Oh well; I've had enough fun for one night.
Yeah, that must have been a horrible D if Knight led the team in tackles...Oh yeah...it was a terrible D, wasn't it...
Actually I wrote Knight led the secondary in tackles; not the team. Zach led the team with 145. Sorry if you misunderstood. It's noteworthy because we also had Surtain, Madison and Freeman on the team at the time.
I am going to predict that Ginn gets about 150 yards receiving today and a TD. I think if we ever had a shot at getting two WR's over 100 yards (each), we could do it today. The weather in Denver is just perfect......low 70's. I think Camarillo could be another guy with 100+ yards.
