My Last Cameron Gripe (and then I'll move on)

What he said or at least is implied is that the talent level determined this season's outcome and not Cameron

 

To be fair, lets combine RM and CC together in this context. How do you measure "stronger".

We improved the talent in many areas of need, at the end of the day we used 10 draft picks, and signed an 11th pick (Moses) so those 11 all contributed to make this team younger and improve CAP space when compared to the prior year. That is stronger in my book.

By my count, including IR we have 17 "rookies" on the roster. I think again that is stronger than what he inherited as far as the future is concerned.

A better coach would have got better results and he definately put his stamp on this team.

 

The only true addition's that can really make any claim to making the team better at this point are Satale and possibly Booker. Our secondary is no better, our dline is no better, our oline actually as a whole is really no better, as a whole Qb is no better except we do have potential. Te is a mess. In reality some of the other picks may make the team better but who were all these players he cleared out that made cap space. Okay he got rid of Chambers and McMichael and he took on Green and Porter. Cut Kevin Carter not much of a suprise. Our wide recieivng copr will probably consist of two guys that actually deserve to be in the NFL but not as starters, assuming Booker gets cut.

 

17 rookies with tremendous cap space, and this upcoming FA and draft put BP in far better position going forward then if he didnt have them.

 

I was always for gaining more draft picks, wish we would learn to trade down a little bit more.
