Whoa. Just flipped to the OSU game. Absolutely killed MSU lol. I'm guessing Pryor and Beanie had big games?

Yup both had nice games accounted for 28 points, the defense chipped in 14 points aswell. Another great game for Jenkins.

Was watching the highlights as I opened this thread. Pryor had a nice throw downfield for a TD. I think it was Robiskie who caught it and the tacklers missed him. That was a nice sack and strip by Jenkins.

Yeah it was Hartline Robiskie was a no show today. Though only 11 passes. Pryor had some nice runs. Beanie stiffed armed several MSU players, he is such a beast even at 75-80%

Edit-Touchdown Pass or the underthrown deep ball?

Really? Only 11? Is Tressell trying to slowly ease him in or are you guys just relying on the run game?

I'm a bit worried, I think Clark can potentially tear into the Buckeyes. Should be a helluva game.

That's awesome. Love Tressel's response .

Loved Pryor coming out and still do. Its a pain to see him in a Buckeye uniform but I can deal with it. OSU has some players I like.

    Deron Carter

I was watching videos on Miamiherald.com and watched a high school football segment - Deerfield vs St Thomas.

Deron Carter is the WR there and has already commited to Ohio State. This kid WILL be a star. He is the son of Chris Carter. Yes, THE Chris Cater, the former Viking receiver. Deron Carter looks big and fast. I highly recommend everyone have a look at the clip.

To follow up Ludacris' post of another big talent, I mentioned that Jaamal Berry will be coming to OSU. He's said to be the best back in the country by some and while I disagree, you can't deny his talent. He's not a big back at 5'11, 185 (even though he looks bigger because of his build) but he has 4.4 speed and is a homerun threat every time he touches the ball. For you guys that are interested, here's a look at your recruit next year.

The Under Armour All-America game is in Orlando and they interviewed some top prospects here. Here's Jaamal Berry's and Duron Carter's short interviews.

Jaamal Berry is struggling with injuries right now. He just came back from wrist surgery and in his first game back I think, he hurt his ankle and has missed the last two games.

Carter had 100 yards and one touchdown last night.

Good chance he leaves. I doubt he would want to risk injury. Unless of course he values winning a Heisman or National title more.

Yeah, I think he would leave. He'd probably get drafted by the Bengals and be their workhorse back. I just wonder if he has that Steven Jackson syndrome, where he's a workhorse back but is always dinged up. Either way, with Berry coming in, its going to be scary with him and Pryor.

Honestly I don't think he goes until 11-19. I mean thats where I would value him he is too banged up to be a top 10 pick, plus bigger needs for teams int he top 10.

Very true if Berry is that explosive man its going to be some duo.

That's true but the Bengals are going to be up there and they have a need at Running Back. I don't think they pass him up because they're so bad in the run game this year. They could have won two or three games if Chris Perry didn't fumble. They're second to last in the league in rushing. I would say they should go DT but I am not sure if any DT in the draft is worthy of going that high. I think Wells is the guy for them. Him or an OT.

Sitting here thinking of recruits and I was wondering about Duron Carter. I know his father wasn't liked by his teammates in Minnesota for the longest time because he was straight-forward and selfish so I wonder if Carter has the same personality as his father?

I read the quote and noticed his strong ties with his staff and that lead me to post that don't worry I'm going to read it. It just bugs me that its obvious Bollmen is horrible and to keep him around because you have strong bonds is ridiculous.

I love how JT holds family values higher than football. That opening question really sets the tone how JT really is.

Hell Robo is up for the Draddy trophy which I think thats an amazing accomplishment. I also love seeing players put their pro career on hold and stay for another year at Ohio St, JT really makes a impact on these young players.

Ah ok, I understand. You have a point and a good one. Trust and friendship seem to go a long way with Tressel though.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty awesome. I remember a quote coming into the USC game when a Buckeyes player said something about becoming a better person. Some people laughed at it but I thought it was great because it showed that its not all about the numbers on the back of their jerseys as Tressel said in the interview. I thought it was awesome when he talked about the players calling him after their OSU careers and saying how they use the stuff he thought them in their life.

I liked what Ray Small said but it was dumb thing to say.

But I think that might be the problem with this team. Only Malcolm, Beanie, and Pryor have that fire that burns with them that gets them fired up for games and during. This team doesn't have that passion. The online is the worst Ive ever seen it. Partly because Boone is the laziest mofo out there and is a jokester. I wish they would start Mike Adams at LT.

It possibly may be the problem. Jenkins is the leader of that team. I've seen him firing up the players in the pre-game huddle multiple times and I love it. Boone has dropped this year. I guess its because of laziness, I'm not sure, I'm taking your word for it but he played much better last year. No worries though, Jaamal Berry and Duron Carter will bring it.
