I disagree....they are ok, they arent Nirvana but they arent bad. I mean how many drummers do you know that go on to be successful lead men? Ask Griddles...

Not a fan of either Nirvana or Foo Fighters, but do like some of Grohl's heavier side project stuff...for example this song by Probot f/ Lemmy

I was seriously disappointed with Probot. I was SO Hyped for that album to come out a few years back and thought it was really lacking...

 

it's not great by any means, although I wasn't expecting it to be, but is decent enough to listen to once in awhile.

If anyone is fan of Grohl or a fan of drumming for that matter, he was UNREAL as the drummer on Queens' of The Stoneage second album.

As far as "super groups" go, Hell Yeah, comprised of the singer from Mudvayne and members of Pantera, is an album worth checking out.

I was just gonna say, I did like the drumming Grohl did on the QOTSA album. Twas awesome. And he was good in Nirvana. And a couple of songs I like from Foo Fighters.

But for the most part, they lack the bawls of a rock band. Kind of like Blink 182 with their punky pop.

Blah.

Give me Rancid, NoFX, Transplants, Bad Religion and the Distillers over bands like Sum 41, Blink 182, and other soulless punkies.

Oh and Jason, anything with Lemmy is bound to at least be decent. Afterall, Lemmy is god, remember?
