I thought T.I. fell off after King, but I must say this Paper Trail is a solid album from top to bottom. The tracklist for those of you interested:

    1. 56 Bars (Prod. DJ Toomp)
    2. I'm Illy (Prod. DJ Toomp)
    3. Ready For Whatever (Prod. Drumma Boy)
    4. On Top Of The World (Feat. Ludacris & B.o.B.) (Prod. DJ Toomp)
    5. Live Your Life (Feat. Rihanna) (Prod. Just Blaze)
    6. Whatever You Like (Prod. Jim Jonsin)
    7. No Matter What (Prod. Danja)
    8. My Life, Your Entertainment (Feat. Usher) (Prod. Drumma Boy)
    9. Porn Star (Prod. Jazze Pha)
    10. Swing Ya Rag (Feat. Swizz Beatz) (Prod. Swizz Beatz)
    11. What's Up, What's Happenin' (Prod. Drumma Boy)
    12. Every Chance I Get (Prod. Mannie Fresh)
    13. Swagga Like Us (Feat. Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne) (Prod. Kanye West)
    14. Slide Show (Feat. John Legend) (Prod. Kanye West)
    15. You Ain't Missing Nothing (Prod. DJ Toomp)
    16. Dead And Gone (Feat. Justin Timberlake) (Prod. Timbaland)

The only song I don't like is "Whatever You Like" which is a complete rip off of "Lollipop" which was ironically produced by Jim Jonsin as well. EDIT: Don't really care for "Porn Star" either, but that's because I hate Jazze Pha and everything his fat *** touches. Horrible producer. Everything sounds the same with him. Overall, I'm really feeling this album.........

"I'm Illy" is my personal favorite right now. Disappointed that "A Better Day" and "Let My Beat Pound" didn't make the final cut. "A Better Day" is sick, and "Let My Beat Pound" dominates my BMW.

Noooot really. I think your confusing him with Dr. Dre.

He had one bad album (Encore). If he puts out another album I would almost guarantee it's a lot better then the garbage that's out now (Jeezy, a lot of Game, every other trash southern rapper).

lol You really want me to pull up verses from Game, Jeezy, Wayne, etc. and compare which is worse?

The difference is that Eminem has way more solid material than any of the names I listed above. You gonna just forget he had 4-5 hot albums because of one verse?

not just one verse. basically every verse after eminem show:lol: and even some of the eminem show was wack.

the 8 mile cd was alright...your obviously love anything eminem breathes on, but truth is he fell off and most people agree

Your obviously a hater. If you rate every rapper as wack after one bad album then how are you still listening to Game and Kanye? Wayne?

If most people think that Jeezy, Game, Wayne, Kanye, Budden, and all that other crap out there is great music then I'm happy as hell to be in the minority. A few of them have some decent material, but not as much as Eminem or anyone else credible.

I don't write anyone off thats had 4 solid albums from being able to make another. If 70% of his music is hot then it would be stupid to think he can't do it again.

em used to be my favorite rapper.....i don't like wayne i said that at the begining of this thread. if you think budden is crap then your whole opinion is useless and garbage..jeezy is alright but he is nothing special...i like kanye and game but that has nothing to do with eminem..if eminem was black nobody would've heard of him

if a rapper hasn't made a good cd since 2003, im supposed to be excited he has a cd coming out? hahahaha **** that

lol that whole sentence is a joke.

Kanye's new album was about the biggest fall-off from a previously hot album that I've ever seen.

Game? Game's first cd was hot (probably bc of who he was working with), DA was trash, and his new cd is half good and half awful.

"If eminem was black nobody would've heard of him". Thats probably one of the dumbest things I've heard in awhile. What is that supposed to mean? That he was never very good and wouldn't of gotten discovered if he was black?

You act like he was the first white person to ever rap. Would the Beastie Boys have been great if they were black? Would Jay-Z be crap if he was mexican? Saying If someone was a diff race has absolutely no weight in any kind of argument. There are no ifs.

IF you wana argue that color had something to do with Eminem then I would almost say that being white hurt him a lot more than it helped. The previous white rappers that were around before him were the Beasties, Vanilla Ice, Kid Rock, House of Pain and Third Base. How does that representation help anyone?

Eminem had 1 **** album after more good ones then anyone you listed. If you wana write someone off that quick then it's whatever. Doesn't make much sense to hold it against someone for taking a break after a **** album and then think they could never make another good album again though.

i never said anything about kanye's last cd..stop acting like i think everything he drops is hot, damn...its all opinion i think doctors advocate was great and im not in the minority in that one either...

yeah, if eminem was black he wouldn't be so popular, which means he wouldn't be so overrated..its pretty ****ing simple if you ask me

My point, which is also simple, is that you write off Eminem for a small amount of his material which was sub-par in comparison to all the music he's put out in his career.

I made the references to Kanye and Game because they have also had noticable gaps in quality music IMO, yet you still seem to be high on them. That contradicts with what you said about Eminem.

I've never heard any black rapper rhyme about the same content and in the same style that Eminem has (which would be impossible and it's why he's successful). Either way, saying he's overrated bc he's white is a pretty big reach IMO.

You seem like your mad at Eminem for having a slump in the last few years. Maybe you hate him because you think he's overrated bc of his whiteness, taking time off, or whatever other reason you have. Like I said, to think that someone who's put out that much quality music in that past can't do it again, is just dumb.

EX. Did you write Jay-Z off after Kingdom Come? (easily his worst). He sure came back solid with AG. One bad album in a few years span and he was still able to resurface with solid music. Thats why I would never think that any quality rapper couldn't do the same.

You're right. He's better than the others in that group. Fab & Styles P are the only dudes ****ing with Joseph right now. Halfway House (independent) coming 10/28. Album of the year, no doubt.

He was always one of the rappers I liked, but never really a favorite. Recently went back and listened to Mood Muzik, Mood Muzik 2, Mood Muzik 3, I'm Back, The Album Before The Album, & Budden's Lost Tapes. I now realize why so many people have been calling dude "the best" for the last few years. He's definitely up there.

EDIT: And yes, Styles P is still that dude. Might not be on the mainstream tip, but he still drops a 30-40 track mixtape every few months or so, and he's never dropped anything less than solid.

I lost all respect for Kanye West when he announced that every song on his upcoming album will feature autotune. That is flat out disgusting. THIS GARBAGE NEEDS TO STOP. People also need to stop blaming Soulja Boy, because this autotune garbage is what has ruined Hip Hop. Lil' Wayne and Kanye West, the main abusers, I'm looking at you. (although I must applaud Wayne for abusing it with features and throwaway tracks, yet only using it 2-3 times on his album)

I highly recommend Jake One's "White Van Music". You have a nice mixture of artists featured on it.

Black Milk, M.O.P., Freeway, Brother Ali, Little Brother, Slug, Posdnuos, MF DOOM, Young Buck, Busta Rhymes, Evidence, Prodigy, Blueprint, Casual, Elzhi, Royce da 5'9".

Jake One makes some good beats.

Yeah, Halfway House is independent I believe, so we'll definitely see that. We can never depend on a true released date for Padded Room, though. We all know about Joe's everlasting label situation.

Hopefully we get Mood Muzik 4 soon, too. Buddens is that dude.
