well its halftime, we have the lead, but were going to need to play alot better than that in the second half to win this game. The D, especially the secondary really needs to tighten up. Gave up way too much yards in the passing game. Got to keep gettin to schaub, force him to make some more mistakes. On offense, we need to get our WR's involved and start moving the ball better. Outside of two big plays, we havent really done much.
Well, let's hope we make some adjustments at halftime. I have to say, I was excited to see the Wildcat Fleaflicker, but the rest of the performance has been pretty underwhelming on all sides of the ball. We've come out a little bit flat, and have allowed Houston to stay in the game.
we were starting to look good on the ground in the last 3 possessions; we got stopped by a penalty, a sack and the end of the half. Hope we can build on that in the second half.
I said a Key to the Game was if we had 58 yards of rushing by halftime that I thought we'd be in the lead and have a good chance to win the game. So far we have 43 yards on the ground - not enough, but we still need to throw the ball as well. We need a time consuming long drive to be honest.
True, IMO we are not making the right sort of playcalls Fasano dropped that pass and has disappeared, Wr's are invisible, so instead of trying to feed them the ball, we went with the Wildcat... Not good, put the ball in Pennington's hands, let him get the job done
wow, another pointless kick return by bess.. leave him on punt returns... put ginn back on kick returns...
Davone Bess is a killer to this team's field position, or lack thereof. We have to travel 75+ yards after every kickoff.
why? he took it outta the endzone past the 20......if he kneeled it he woulda got to the 20 anyways.....
that pass play to ginn is never going to work if he cant get past the first guy, he rarely does. nice effort by martin there... just short though... ugh.
