Cornerback Will Billingsley, a rookie free agent who spent the first three weeks on the practice squad, was re-signed to that developmental unit on Monday.

It's likely that he's replacing rookie defensive tackle Anthony Toribio, a local product who played his college ball at Carson-Newman. Toribio, who impressed the coaches during a rookie tryout and showed enough promise during training camp to make the practice squad, had his nametag removed from his locker.

Wasn't he the player the 'Phins cut from the PS after he missed a practice to make room for Parmele? If so, I wonder whether he managed to come up with a good excuse for the absence, and, if not, how he got back into the good graces with the 'Phins powers-that-be.

Magro has the size but he's slow. Ran a 4.8 forty. He does have a very good motor though and plays reckless. He can get to the QB as well as play outside and inside. However, I'd be surprised if we signed him unless they plan on converting him to an 'end.

So they'd go from taking an end and converting him to LB (Roth) to taking a LB and converting him to end. Just curious as to how Roth's forty time compares to his.

O wow, I didn't know Roth was this slow but it says 4.81 on NFLdraftscout.com. I guess I'm wrong about the speed of Macro.
