That's exactly right if you have 15-20,000 posts it doesn't mean you've really contributed anything it just means you like to see yourself type.

If anything a thanks badge would be more appropriate because that's direct feedback form other posters.

Because if you're a douche or don't make somewhat relevant posts you won't get the recognition of the other posters I guess unless they are also douches but that's a whole differnet problem.
