Must say I like everything I heard from the new dolphins duo.
They seem like they have a clue and a plan.
Maybe its false hope but at least its hope.

It's a starting point anyway and I do like the hard-nosed, in the trenches philosophy. The last one we had to embrace that was Sparano and while he did well with the line, the play calling and philosophies ultimately sunk him.

So I'm hoping for a Sparano roster with non-Sparano play-calling.

I liked their comments regarding quarterbacks, and I’m paraphrasing here but they seem to have the team building philosophy I have, build the team, build the trenches, get the weapons and then get the quarterback. Loved how they mentioned getting a good quarterback but he’s constantly getting killed out there. I think we’re going to see them build the trenches this offseason and not focus on getting THE quarterback, which is what I called for when the whole Tank for Tua campaign was in full swing.

In a separate interview with Sullivan, I loved how he brought up our division goes through New York, Buffalo and New England and the saying “fast gets slow but big doesn’t get small”. I LOVE that! Build this team to go north and compete with physicality.

So far Sullivan and Hafley are saying the right things. I expect 2026 to be a bust but I am hopeful we’re going to see the Dolphins be VERY competitive in a physical way in 2027.
